So… flippin’… easy! This actually makes me a bit angry at all of the other training materials I’ve looked at about VOR navigation that made it seem so complicated. Thank you!!!

This is just superb, I been tryin to find out about "does the faa publish knowledge test bank" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you heard people talk about - Yanaylee Yanrooklyn Magic - (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now )? It is a great one of a kind guide for discovering how to get pilot license minus the headache. Ive heard some great things about it and my partner got cool success with it.
Lovely Video clip! Apologies for butting in, I would love your thoughts. Have you heard the talk about - Rozardner Flying Bird Reality (do a search on google)? It is a good exclusive guide for how to get pilot license minus the headache. Ive heard some great things about it and my friend finally got great results with it.
@@fly8ma.comflighttraining199 do you have a video on zone of ambiguity? I cannot figure it out when given a ? as this VOR tuned to aircraft over a town which for indication is correct?
He says about 315 degrees because that is the approximate heading that the aircraft would need to fly in order to track towards the station. Keep in mind the needle is not pointing at a specific heading but simply deflecting to the left or right to show where the 'dialed' radial is relative to your aircraft.
What are you looking at to get the 110 on the gauge that’s confusing me I guess and on the previous one as well cause nothing was pointing in that direction unless I’m miss understanding thank you so much for the help
I've seen all youtube videos on this concern, been more than 10h stuggling looking at questions, and with about 5min video, i can finally start doing bit by bit the questions, what a LEGEND!
How does one select the VOR radial that one wishes to use as a nav marker? There must be another piece of equipment involved that nobody ever mentions.
If you want to fly on a certain radial, you just dial it in with the OBS knob. Unless you mean selecting the actual VOR. You do that with the nav radio.
Yndostrui The nav radio. That's the missing piece. Every time I ask about the VOR my flight instructor says not to worry about it now, and all the VOR videos start with the VOR already programmed in. Thanks for your help.
Hi Mike, I joined your free online ground school training courses, and by the way thank you so much for all of your flight information you have presented on all of your videos. Hopefully I will get my private pilot license in the future.
Great stuff... If I go for my PPL I will be using your courses.... I couldnt help but notice the airplane picture at the end of this module has a srcrew/rivet loose on the right wing, and it seems the skin is lifting off a bit. I hope someone fixed that a long time ago..... Thanks again for the free videos, so I can study and get ahead of the curve before I am financially ready to fly.
Good method for answering questions but I don’t think this really delves into the “how” of how a VOR/ OBS/ CDI actually works. Sure you can answer the question but you won’t truly understand it. If you want to fly direct to a VOR, tune your OBS until it’s dead straight, then fly that heading until the cone of confusion then tune and fly your outbound course..
4:15 i don't understand... am i suppose to look at the needle or somewhere else since you're saying "somewhere around 110" same goes to the previous example... i am sorry it's just i am about to start my flight academy and it's all new for me
Hello, I'm in school for Aviation mechanics and I just want to let you know that I really appreciate your videos. It really gets me excited for what's to come in this field. Like you, I hope to travel around with my wife. Anyways.... thank you for sharing your adventures with us. Cheers!
Should I get all my ratings with ATP flight school. Or should I stick with my local FBO and pay for all my lessons as I have money. I have my PPL already
