My weight ready to ride is about 70/72Kg; for me the 45lb/in coil is a bit firmer. I prefer the 40Lb/in. But this is indicative, the choice of the coil is very personal since it depends on the terrain you ride, your style or how you like the feel of the fork.
Hello: I'm currently running it and testing it in my usual trails to check the change of feeling from air to coil, so in a short time I will prepare a video with my impressions. Yes, with the bike standing the weight gain is noticeable, but in favor I have to say that the distribution of weight is more balanced in both axles. Once in move is like wearing flip-flops and then later put on some mountain boots, you feel the weight at first but after the first descent and check that now your fork is like a steam iron you forget.
MAT7nueve the meanwhile i got my smashpot too only test it in parking lot first impression f...hell wow (and fox 36 had already fited with the awk system) difference day and night the weight yeah i noticed it but i changed back from 2.6 tyres to 2.4 new set wheels (newmen sl a30 1620g)fitted a carbon bar and a lighter stem and now only ways 80 g more than it was before smashpot
@@andras4750 Very good with the changes you have made almost the same weight but with a fork that works as it should be. The air forks works, but when you run coil it's difficult to go back. I now have a problem with the system, I guess it's my unit's defect. At the moment I don't want to create alarm so I will wait for the answer from TFtuned and Vorsprung.
