Got today this same model and really like it. Like ideally sized, beautifully built, like military dark green color. Thank you for sharing your toughs, and detailed review.
Thank you for the excellent review! You gave me so much useful information. By the way, this seems like a non-sponsored video and those are getting pretty rare. Thumbs up for making this video in an unbiased manner.
I was given the 8x42 Diamondbacks about 6 years ago and at the time,..heck even today, they are thee best binoculars I have even had the pleasure to use. Bright clear glass, that impressed my friends as we watched a group of Caribou that were 'invisible' to the naked eye. I tried all manner of Binos before I got these Vortex binoculars and these are the ones that impressed me. Would I buy this make model again,..in a heartbeat!
Thank you for the review. I’ve never seen the tripod setup before, that’s really cool. These binos would probably outperform my $70 Canadian Tire spotting scope.
hey is it normal for my new binoculars to not be able to open to fit my eye width? like they wont flex up and down, its really tight, am I missing something? thanks!
Awesome, I like these a lot. Who would you recommend for Lazer eye surgery? I'm going switch out my vortex 12x50s for these 10x42s. I want something a little lighter and less bulky for the backcountry.
I have a pair of 10X42 (another brand) and I find them a little too powerful. I think something a little less powerful would be better. You're the first one I see that recommends 10X so maybe I did make a good choice.
