Im shopping this vs G45 and im running exps2-0 & newest 2.25" riser/Unity Omni flip to center-down mount that works w the Vortex 6x. I want the extra body length of the 6x vs the shorty Eotech G45 so I dont have to be as far into the charge handle to make eye relief(deleting the rail irons) so the diopter will be further back past the the charge handle over the buffer tube(i got a POF big ambi handle to grab at) so im not worried about magnifier/charge handle real estate. I assume youve looked thru a G45 and the micro 6x? Which one to get? Money isnt a problem but ill gladly save $200 and get my ergo's if the thing looks as good/better than G45 downrange?
The problem is the garbage magnifier mount. I have the same setup and the reticle position with the magnifier is not consistent. Sometimes it’s centered, the next time it’s almost out of view. All of reviews on the Vortex website mention the faulty magnifier mount.
Hey buddy! What can you say about mount in this magnifier, cause I read that it have some problem. “Every time I flip the magnifier to the side, and then flip it back upright, I have to re-center the red dot.” Can you give your advice?
I keep seeing reviews of people complaining about the mount being inconsistent with its alignment with the optic when flipped back and forth. Have you noticed any alignment issues with your eotech? I own a uh-1 gen 2 and have been thinking about getting a magnifier for it so your input would be greatly appreciated.
how is the flip to side mechanism holding up? considering one of these... also, have you tried a traditional red dot with it? does it make the dot HUGE?
I'm looking at these for my xps3 EOTech... I really wish they had an adjustable magnification magnifier so it's not stuck on any single magnification... I talked with vortex and they said "that's what the lpvo is for..." But it'd b really nice especially on pistols bcuz 1x on a red dot is light-years better than any lpvo so the multi power magnifier would b freakin' sweet

All magnifiers will have some "Zero" shift. It's visually worse for a higher magnification optic, due to the misalignment appearing multiplied by the increased magnification, but every magnifier with every mount will have some shift happening.
