Wait, wtf is a friend and how to I acquire them, is it like pokemon style where I have to capture them and lock them away in a box? or Monster Rancher where i force them to do menial things in order to up their states and then throw them wildly into fights against massively more powerful people.
One time during a titan brawl 2 monarchs and 2 legions were all bunched up fuckin my team in a small are, i jump in front with a vortex and instantly killed 2/4 and damn near killed the other two with no damage to myself, its quite powerful. Edit: i love being americas worst nightmare.
It's always hilarious and satisfying when a new legion player keeps shooting at you, unaware of the damage they've unleashed upon themselves/their teammates until you throw back all those bullets.
I feel like if you took away ion’s main weapon, added more energy to the shoulder laser and the vortex shield it’d still be just as good 😂 I feel like I got a pea shooter, but then I hit a crit with the shoulder laser and one good vortex volley and poof gone
As memed-on as it is, I have actually been having a good time with the refractor lens kit. People expect the splitter rifle to be a tickle gun, but in close range that 5-way split absolutely shreds. You run out of energy fast with it so you have to be careful about when you use it, but if you get a flank on someone, drop a full energy bar of that into their back and dodge away, you delete half of their health bar at very little danger to yourself. If they chase, drop a tripwire. If they don't, reset your energy and come back for round 2
I'm using ion as a reference for the character I'm making for my indie game, I have the battery/energy systems working fine and everything, but I'm stuck with this exact issue, I made it work more like the l star with a cooling mechanism instead of a reload, and it was beautiful.
I'm not even insanely great with her but she's my favorite Titan! She's just perfect in every way I feel so bad how I shrugged her off and went with other Titans when I first played TF2
