@@canaanite23hey man, its been six months since you asked. "pulling anchor" is a reference to the last runner of a relay race. "human centipede" is when you have chain of people sewn together asshole to mouth.
@cavemanvi I have to assume you're trying to bait me into overblown response. If I'm mistaken, I suggest you look up a show called Opie and Anthony and look for episodes featuring Patrice. (Trigger Warning)
I stand by my remark, that no one can work a crowd like Patrice O'Neal, he was and always will be an absolute legend in the game. Until I discovered Jay, no one has even come close to Patrice level crowd work. You're the closest thing to that legend Big Jay. Big Jay has arrived.
Despite what Merrian Webb will have you believe, it's incorrect to use "begs the question" (it's a reserved term in logic theory, a form of circular reasoning). You want to use "raises the question".
I miss The Stand roast battles. That was such a wonderful time. Every weekend… tuning in to watch comedians find their bearings, while drinking around a table. Cool shit like that is always so short lived.
He’s just “too sik wid et!” That’s their best guess. He wanted to pay them a thousand- two thousand dollars but they said no charge. Someone said to put his collar down, but his collar won’t go down: he’s too cool.
Damn Big Jay! Killed the stage one by one. Good shit! The Patrice quotes were classic. I'm gonna go hit my Patrice play list now. I got a jones going for some of that sic humor!
I find it crazy he has fears and anxieties when he can go up to a mic and command a room like this and demand respect with his jokes. I would be a sweaty bumbling mess on that stage even though im confident and easy going in my normal life. One of the best, please dont die doing a dab because we lost enough good comics in recent years you asshole. Love ya brother.
Saw Jay in Boston a few years ago and he was great- crowd was a lame, and the wrong kind of people were sitting up front for a comic who thrives on audience interaction. Killer set though.
Kinda sad this crew hasn't seen another black comedian after Patrice. It's awfully white up there these days, I guess it was too early for Keith to show up.
