Great video. I had a few of the glow in the dark dots fall off my face and are now missing. So I needed to know how to get in there and pull the crown and movement to find those little suckers. Thanks.
Hi. I think that due to the russian invasion it is quite difficult to find the original Vostok dials (Meranom, Vostok site, etc.) Do you know where to get them? Thank you!
Oh my God where did you get that dial? I was looking for a green dial but always wanted to find one with a white scuba dude, exactly how yours looks like!
When removing the movement, it ran out of power and stopped on it's own. It was running in the video under very low power generated by the rotor only because it sat motionless in the box for a few days before I got to work on it and in that time, it had run down completely. There was also a period of time edited from the video where the rotor was removed and therefore not providing any more power. When installing the hands, you turn the crown until the exact moment the date changes, then set all the hands to midnight and zero seconds.
