Chrico runs into his old friends who are ex-red shoulders, they come up with a plan to get revenge on General Pailsen. After figuring out his hideout is on an abandoned melkian corps base they gear up for a huge battle.
Ryosuke Takahashi put out a short story to coincide with the release of TLRS that more closely ties it with the original series, a translated version can be found on Tim Eldred's Votoms fansite.
Imagine getting brutally beaten up, nearly killed, and tossed from your mech, unconscious… Only to wake up to two people randomly making out in front of you.
Did he just use a 3.5mm jack to connect to the mech? What an opportunity wasted to show off a cool chunky mil-spec connector with interrupted threads or some sort of quick release ball detent mechanism. Imagine thinking that jack won't come flying out of the socket the first moment you get jostled going over rough terrain or something.
but they're so light in comparison to the force of the mechanism locking them in place it would take an astronomical level of acceleration to jostle them free. I mean I'd be more concerned about the cable breaking internally so it doesn't work unless you bend it at a weird angle.
The black mechs were shooting all thy had against the green ones and their bullets would just plink off. The main character gets into one of the same exact mechs, one that was damaged and its pilot killed before, instant unstoppable death machine. I wish i could say anime got more subtle with this bullshit over the years but it didn't
Do you mean the blonde guy? He is generically engendered super soldier with way above human reaction time, precision and endurance. Why wouldn't he operate AT better than normal person? You can even see him doing complicated maneuvers and being consistently faster to act than his opponents because that's the point - he's a PS (perfect soldier). Don't judge the show while having little to no understanding of it.
I'm pretty sure I saw the bullets going straight through their armor, and the only reason they weren't destroyed is cause the shots missed everything vital. That's not exactly unheard of if not a little contrived
Plink off? 😑uhh no what happens is the black ats don’t hit direct points that would destroy the scopedogs. We’re also forgetting the pilots are not just red shoulders but some of the best ones. Most fight scenes has em dodging fire not directly getting hit in the chest otherwise they would be dead just like these black ats
And if ur talking about the white haired guy. He’s a perfect soldier and has insane reaction time and everything so ofc he’s gonna mop the floor with the scopedogs
