Here in the US we big on pain old toilets, so these seat bidets are a perfect solution as long as you can get power to them. I agree the all in one solution is just too expensive and not needed. Thank you for sharing.

I totally agree, I was staying at a friend's house and it felt so strange to use toilet paper. I couldn't wait to get back to our bidet. Everyone should have one!

Chuck, regardless of the model make sure you have easy access to GFCI electrical outlet. My fave features are the seat warmer and easy to use remote. Once you get it, you'll wonder why everyone doesn't have one.

@@cfldriven Thanks! I have a plan to install an outlet tied to a GFCI circuit on the other side of the wall. Now to locate where I can got a few feet wiring without buying a whole roll. Thanks again. 😊

@@cfldriven I ran into a problem sliding the seat onto the base bracket per the instructions. After messing with it for far to long I walked away and thought about it andcameupwithasolution. The workaround was so simple and easy. I put the bolts and bolt brackets in the base bracket and mated them to the seat, then installed the assembly on the commode. During this step I simply positioned the seat. Works great!

Kalman, to engage the power saving function go to the panel just above the inlet hose. The button is on the far left and it will turn on and off the energy saving mode. Thanks for the question and for watching.

Good question, I have two different brands and they both make little noises when you sit and use them. After each use the wand does self clean as it retracts, however I clean the the wand each time I wash out the bowl. Thanks for watching.

We have it set to be on, so we are always greeted by a warm seat. The heat function is controlled by the remote and not the raising of the toilet lid.

@@cfldriven Thank you for your reply. I actually contacted VOVO support about the energy efficiency aspect and they answered. I put it here in case it's helpful for others: "We recommend you to turn the Power Save Mode on, it automatically adjusts the water and seat temperature to 30°C, gradually decreasing over time, and eventually turning off to conserve energy when the bidet is not in use. It's important to note that once movement is detected by the sensor, the temperature will return to the preset mode."

No it has male and female button along with nozzle position adjustment. If you need to wash a wider area just move you butt around.

I would think not as the seat holes keep the whole thing from moving. You might want to check the manufacture to see if they have something available for your particular situation.

Hi @@cfldriven, I did order the VOVO VB-6100SR and they do include a second set of rubber grommets for my kind of toilet. Just need to get a 4 foot 1/2 water connection from the sink :)

Yes the depending on the length of run it can be angled down or back.

Glad you ask, after the third use I became a convert. A month after installation and use, I don't ever see going back to a plain toilet. The misses was more reluctant to try it, but is now a regular user despite having her own bathroom (w/o bidet). My only concerns are making sure I clean on the underside around the spray head, and whenever we lose power the unit drops out of energy saving mode. With use of the drying mode I don't have a need to use TP to pat dry. I did discover the wash and dry cycle will time out on their own if you don't manual stop them and of course they both stop if you get off the seat. Was it worth it, well I got it for free, but if we had a plug in the other bathroom I would make the investment on a much better way of cleaning and all but eliminating the TP. Your right this unit does seem to have a lot of features for the price. I guess you can save some money by getting the one without remote control. On the manual unit the controls are easy to reach, though if try using it to sit or get up with it might not bear the weight. If I had to give up any features it would probably be the Turbo and Pulsating modes. Looking forward to a warm seat on winter mornings. Hope you get a chance to tell us what you think of it after a couple of uses. Thanks for commenting and watching.

In order to avoid a cold seat it is constantly heated. Three temp settings are available was well as an energy saving mode. Of course it can also be disabled.

Without power you treat it like a regular toilet. If the remote is missing, there are controls on the side of the seat you can use until you find the remote.

My VOVO is at three years and no issues so far. Have you replaced the batteries on the remote? Also if it is acting buggy try unplugging waiting a few seconds and plugging back in. Hope that helps.

Just bought a few weeks ago and some functions didn't work at all sometimes. Maybe bugging?

@@Janeelle-jg7jx I would give their customer service a call as there shouldn't be any issues. Worst case return it for an exchange or refund.

While it will work with an extension cable, it is strongly advised not to. You want a GFCI outlet that is close by. For our guest bathroom I had to install an outlet just for this purpose.

I use a 5m extension cable to connect it. Also don't know why it should be a problem. It doesn't take that much energy (not like a oven or sth). Absolutely no problem 👍

I only have experience with the Alpha (here is my video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-XFH53PWbJbw.html ) and this Vovo bidet. Overall with the exception of the remotes being different, the experience is about the same. They both get the job done and are better than not having a bidet. I did watch Toto's video on their product, the misting function along with the auto seat open and close don't seem to make it a better bidet, just more things that can go wrong. For me the most important thing is the remote, make sure you like the layout because you will be using it everyday.

The VB-4000SE is similar in features except it has deodorization and on the 2022 models a UV LED sterilization of the bowl area.

@@cfldriven could you please tell me which one of vovo bidet seat is the most loaded with features and do they include auto open and close like toto? I am not talking about the entire toilet, just the portable seat. Thank you in advance!

Thanks for watching. Recently a holiday guest came out of the bathroom exclaiming how much she liked it using the bidet.

And to answer the question the dry function runs for a max of 3 minutes. If you are done sooner you can either turn it off via the remote or just get up and it will shut down. If you want more time just press the dry button again.

You’re supposed to soak up most of the water with toilet paper and then use the dryer to get totally bone dry. It takes about 10 seconds to become dry when doing it right.

@@chinosanchez204 That certainly is one way of using a bidet but not the only way. Others prefer air drying when it is available.

Sorry to hear you had problems. We have had ours for two years without any issues from the t-valve. What went wrong?

Sorry about the audio issue. The seat needs to detect someone sitting on it before it will function. If you get up from the seat the water stops spraying, which is a good thing.

@@cfldriven when he says "plastic covering the seat" I think he means lay a sheet of perspex onto the seat and press down. Then we can see the spray mechanism move and the water come out.
