@@killnoni5032 Haven't purchased one - thank you Covid-19 :( That will change in the New Year. I may get an AC15, because of the headroom. We'll see, but I'm still very impressed with everything I've heard from the 10, and I was never a top boost guy. I'm also looking at an older Laney VC30 210. It's "Vox-adjacent" in terms of tone, has plenty of headroom, and doesn't weigh a ton.
One of my favorite amps I have! I put a Celestion 10" Greenback in mine. Really came alive! Edit: I’ve switched the greenback to a Creamback and it’s even better!
this is my favorite amp with fuzz and a les paul, i think because its bright, and doesnt get muddy with that set up..I chose the ac 10 over a 15 and 30.........Perfect for the house, great for recordong, doesnt need to blow out windows to get some drive....
Can you explain how NOT having an effects loop is NOT a disadvantage with the AC10. I think you have a great demo that just fell short of addressing the elephant in to room. While your demo makes the various pedals sound really nice, if you addressed the impact of not having a loop and how to work around that limitation you would have hit a home run. So maybe reply to this and give me your suggestions and how to avoid problems and understand the limitation or of course make a new video that addresses the entire argument of the AC10 making a great pedal platform. Thank you.
I use mine straight into the front with no issues at all. I did upgrade the tubes, put in a creamback and did the attenuator jack mod. turned out awesome
@@colinparks619 Voxes are notoriously good pedal platforms for everything except overdrive, The edge of U2 uses delay and huge reverbs all the time and runs straight into a vintage ac30. It most likely won’t be a problem
Hi great video but just one doubt .. between this AC10 n the VOX MV50 CLEAN .. which one is the best pedal platform?? I'll appreciate someone reply me 😊
I'm unable to play analog pedals + multi effects processors jointly (like my other amps) with vox AC10C1... They play well seperately.. what could be the reason(s)?
