in fact the story is Neil Sch0n when looking for a singer 15 years ago was tipped to Hugo and he frea.ked out, as he felt the fans wouldnt buy Hugo in the band. He felt J0urney would become a Steve Perry spectacle and not focus on the entire band...
Probably because he's just too close! Hugo is Steve's Doppelganger for sure. The exact mannerisms are amazing! He's so awesome. So talented and kind hearted like Steve himself. He's giving us a gift by keeping Steve's legacy of music alive. He's letting us enjoy a show like Steve used to be able to give us when he was younger. Steve is 72 now after all. He can't really tour (hasn't been able to yet), and his range has sadly diminished. He still is amazing though. I have Traces, and I love it! ❤🎤

just shut your eyes and listen......and then open your eyes and enjoy!!!!!! i will be following this band to a town somewhere. musicianship is TOP NOTCH!!! and the voice....pretty damn good and i am critic of ANYONE even Steve singing Journey live.
While nothing lasts forever, Journey left a void, and as Hugo has said, they're taking people back to a better time (Touché!), and when you have a 'carbon-copy' of the main Journey focal point, namely Steve, plus a Keyboardist with a Cain-like expression, and Guitarist playing similar to Schon, then you have some very good Nostalgic Triggers, ... you actually have some Living, Breathing NOSTALGIA!🌈✨

This band might be one of the best trulibute bands of any kind that I have ever seen/heard. The dude is so close to Perry. Also the guitar player has Schoens tone and style down. But the detail of having the keyboards player sing like Gregg Rollie so you can legit pull this off is next level. Outstanding job guys! When you coming to Myrtle Beach?

The lead singer sounds like Steve Perry and looks like his twin brother! Are you sure you are not related? Unreal! At first glance I thought he was Perry! You sound like Journey to me and I enjoy the Voyage! Why don’t you call yourselves Voyager? 👏🏻🎸😎
For me it's all about the singer. It's to bad The real band didn't scoop hugo up to replace perry. He's basically perry's twin. It's incredible. I love watching arnel and the original band. But the nostalgia of journey is Steve perry and his voice. And hugo brings that to the table. It would be an awesome experience if arnel retired from journey and hugo got a chance for like one tour to be the front man for the original band. Until then. They're basically a tribute band featuring arnel pineda vs this band Voyage featuring hugo.
Everytime i watch one of their video's i get kinda angry and annoyed by this 'Poser' Bassplayer.. There's something 'Off' with this guy.. He's a mis-fit for this amazing band.
