They came from Cornwall.I have a copy of a diary of one of my descendants who came out to NZ on the Ben Nevis sailing ship.They describe the journey over months from London to Otago in 1882.Amazing reading.
@@AdventureTravelNewZealand yeah man , some awesome history. It's a shame these days that they been blocked off because of them starting to fall down and no one's maintained them. The locals down at toliga bay have cut their way through the barriers 3 times but this forth one they put up you can't cut through or clime around....it sucks
