I love Voyager most of all the later series but I still love the Original the most. My order is: The Original. Voyager. Enterprise. TNG. I never liked DS9 at all.
Mine is TNG = VOY > TOS > DS9. DS9 was much too political and had some of the worst episodes of all the series. Though it did get a little better from Season 3 onwards when they had the Defiant but even then it got pretty repetitive after a while. The DS9 conventions are also the worst for me, always talks about politics and religion, while the Voyager ones are the best when most of the actors can attend. They just go nuts on the stage and it's impossible to not make it through one without a major heart attack from laughing.
I was a 10yr old female when ST:TOS came out. I watched every episode and was enthralled but quickly learned that among my friends I was considered a bit strange when I would discuss it. I watched every incarnation of all the Star Trek series and Voyager is by FAR my very favorite. I was heartbroken when it ended. I would love to see a Voyager movie like they did with the TOS characters and TNG.
@@ingurlund9657 I loved seeing a female captain and that they had truly gone “Where no one had gone before”-until they came across the Equinox and Captain Ransom!
I always thought Voyager got a bit of a raw deal....it's like they were considered the "black sheep" of the Star Trek family...and yet, it was always one of my favorites. The writing and cast were top notch.
Thanks for posting this. I would love to go to at least one Las Vegas Star Trek convention but unfortunately it always happens in August and I can barely survive the heat when I go to Las Vegas in April.
Go look up "Tim Russ Band" Some very cool stuff, Some hate it, Some love it, Nobody in between, I personally thought he has a few great songs! I'm not a kid any more and no longer want to hear Fight fire with fire or Poop Dog-dogie style except on an occasional bender, so this was really nice to find. P.S. I just went to look for Tim's albums on amazon, i found i didn't need to buy them, as a prime member you can just listen for free and i must say the studio versions of his stuff IS really kick ass!
tuvok is the captain of voyager, kim is a captain and the other kim in now a kabal, neelix is fine just helping his people. not sure if star trek online is canon or not but they do reprise there roles for the game
Ahhhhh, they passed on the fan film question. If the host hadn't I doubt the actors would have said anything anyway, they all have personal interests to look after. Particularly Creation Con since they have a lot to lose if they anger CBS or Paramount. Although I will say this, Garrett is known for voicing his opinions. At Dragon Con to years ago he talked about why he was never allowed to direct, and I forget the exact reason, and it was because he voiced a strong opinion about something, or complained about something. Heck, even on this panel he said the reason they got rid of Brian Fuller was because they were jealous of him or threatened by him in some way. So I bet Garrett DOES have an opinion about the whole fan film thing.
CBS and Paramount created massive guidelines on all fan films/series to the extent of seriously limiting what the fans could create. Thats what the question was retaining to and by answering that question there could've been serious repercussions on the actors or the convention creators/hosts.
Who was the New York Actres they brought in. I know Genevold Bujold got firede or quit after a few days, but I like to see who that 3rd Actress who auditioned to play Captain Janeway.
Wish they didn't spend so much time goofing around. i know it tells us about who they are but it s a waste of opportunity to get answers to some v good questions..still enjoyable tho. what a show
Loved Jennifer Lien as Kes, way better than Jeri Ryan as the borg chick, the show really went downhill after that! The network really pushed the borg chick way too much, it became really frustrating as a watcher and fan of the show, it was bad watching the show slump after borg chick came on! When they let Jennifer/Kes's hair grow out, she was even more gorgeous, the network really blew it getting rid of her!
