Really great to see more non-gaming applications. These devices are actually general-purpose spatial computers, and there's so much more to explore than just gaming.
@@DiscoVRTetiana Glad to hear it! I think the Apple Vision Pro has also moved the Overton window significantly. People are much more likely to associated XR with everyday/productivity uses now, thanks to Apple, so I'm sure you have a new audience that is not just gamers.
This video was very good idea, thank you for making it. 💯🎮👏🏻 The sole fact that elders approve it, and can use it to effectively learn how to play the piano (the basics, of course, while having fun at the same time...) is genius. It means that for younger people (who are used to VR Games) it is even better for learning and playing too.
@@runebraager1968 I bought Pianovision yesterday and when I launched it it asked me if I want to use it on a real Piano, a Midi Piano or on a virtual Piano. As far as I know Pianovision works the best on a Midi-Piano because it can be connected directly to the Quest 3 via cable. Sadly I couldn't try it yet because the Handtracking didn't work properly (I also don't have any Piano).
That was the FIRST app I bought after getting my Q3. The passthrough is a great way to learn the piano. Thank you for the video, it was really great to see you with your family Merry Christmas and God bless you and your family.
I enjoyed this video alot. Great to see you all together. Merry Christmas and thank you for every thing this year. May 2024 be an even more splendid year
I see many videos about how good this app is for learning, but for those of us who already have an intermediate level, is it recommended? because I see all the songs very easy, thank you.
I selected the easiest songs for this video project. There Are thousands of songs in the app all sorted into levels from 0 to 10 so many of them are really advanced!. Also there’s a music sheet that shows up on top so if you already know how to play you can follow that instead or in addition to the falling notes. I think it’s great for people who already have some piano experience!
This is very cool! Picked up the app about a week ago and got my Casio CTK 720 last night. This has inspired me to get at it even more, thank you! Now time to get playing!!!
Wait, what? It has numbers to show what finger to use? I didn't notice that (only tried it once to make sure it worked with my keyboard) and was thinking I needed something to tell me which finger to use! I'll need to pay attention to that next time I try it... THANX!
This is what XR needs much more of. Use cases that that have nothing to do with gaming that provide genuine utility that you couldn’t practically or as easily get IRL.
@@DiscoVRTetiana next time I see you on the Next Dimension Podcast. Sebastian will be raving about the latest Quest 3 headstrap with divergent top strap and cushions from exotic materials, Steve will praise the sweet spot, clarity, colours, pixels of the latest +10.000$ headset and you will be there with a story from the real world of virtual reality. Much appreciated.
This is amazing for beginners! However I imagine it shares a lot of criticism as simply piano. If you are serious about learning the piano I recommend taking lessons
Which does help to build muscle memory and familiarise the note patterns in the songs and how to move around the piano. This is similar idea to Rocksmith which is a good kickstart for anyone trying to learn guitar for real, much easier to start than trying to fiddle around sheet music and tabs if you have no teacher around.
