i love the sound of my stock suzuki 750 intruder.I don't need "look at me ". The bike gets lots of looks. The best metric cruiser style wise by far.Never dreamed of owning a Harley. But dreamt about an intruder 750 since 1985. Bought ne this year.
I wish I'd understood bikes a bit better when I had one of these many years ago. I didn't realise that it's entirely normal for them to rattle a bit and have an uneven tickover. I actually really enjoyed riding mine, although my mates took the mickey as I didn't have a sports bike. Looking back, I should have ignored them and kept it - maybe customised it a bit. I wanted a Harley-like experience and really this is the closest thing you'll get without going the "whole hog"...(sorry!)
Thank`s for your comment. Forward controls is made from AME. See links below.www.tekcoach.dk/ame/Sider/AME.htmwww.chopperkitusa.com/suzuki-chopper-kits.htmwww.ame-chopper.de/fileadmin/user_upload/PDF/M6_SUZUKI_NEU.pdf And yes, you have to rejet the carbs if you go for the last exhaust pipes in my video. And the local police did`t like them at all, so I had to install the old "rebuild" pipes again. I still love this old bike. She was born in Japan, exported to USA 30 years ago. Then exported to Canada in 1990. Have been rebuild 1991 as she is today. Then exported to Holland 1992. New engine 2006 from a Germany bike ( 8.000 miles. ). And then 2011 exported to Denmark. So....almost around the world, but still going strong.
I think his idle is okay. The battery isn't charging on any bike at idle, it charges at rev. My only worry would be low oil pressure, but that still shouldn't be a problem. Nice work man!
