True but the Vsett doesn’t run faster than 45mph as well here are a lot of videos confirmed with gps data. But for around 43mph, it is a fast one for me already.
After watching many review videos on scooters, you guys were the first to nail every point on the head. Great insights, it really is a flashy scooter and hard to ride without attracting attention.
@@RobertGaron still love it have had no problems with it other than 2 flats which aren’t that hard to fix on this scooter. I’d still recommend it for sure
I’m about 40 miles from hitting 5000 miles on it. Yes you will be replacing tires within that timeframe probably multiple times unless you are lucky and never hit anything when riding at 45mph. You will be replacing brakes a few times but that depends on your use of regen braking, I don’t use any regen personally. I’ve replaced shocks and disk as well as added a dampener. Most things will very depending on rider, riding style and the quality of the products you can get. Still love it and have used it as my only transportation for 9 months on the flat sandy Florida cost even on rainy days.
Great review! You guys are the only channel out of many that talks about wheelies. I always wondered if they could wheelie and noticed nobody ever mentions it. I'm sold on this beast
I test drive my Brother's Vsett10+ in our street, set to speed 2. I max the throttle as soon i'm in the middle of the street. Smooth and fast acceleration when goes to 0 to 21 mph, then it will kick again on 21 mph up to 43 mph still going on but, i have to slow down on 43 mph cuz the handle bar starts to wobble a little bit from there i got scared and slowed down. Usually 40 mph that's the maximum speed you usually satisfied in driving fast in the street. Over than 40 mph you need a dampener to steady the handle bar on this Scooter.. This is just my opinion...My brother gave me his Hiboy s2 pro scooter 18mph max :( .. But still appreciated :) Thanks for the review :)
10+ is my first e scooter, about 1 month and have done about 500km, my top speed is 43mph gps verified, I have set wheel diameter to 8.8 to get display close to gps, first mod I did was to swap the handle bar out for carbon fiber, way lighter and doesn't come loose.
Excellent review..I have just brought one..You really touched every single impressive issue with it. It is one of the few reviews that stress on it’s overpower.
On the workstand the 10+ does 94km/h in either single or dual motor mode, and because i've recalibrated the settings there doesn't appear to be a Sport mode. I only weigh 70kg, but i get to its on-road limit of 50mph far quicker when both motors are used. And when it comes to very steep urban hills using the rear motor only, the 10 sometimes struggles. Whereas 2 motors literally tear up any hill. Just bought an X300 Lambretta which is a dream to ride, but i still use my 10+ far more.
Kick-starting a scooter makes it easier for someone that's trying to learn to ride a scooter that's not used to it because if it didn't have the kick-start the person grabbing the scooter may accidentally pulled the trigger when they're just trying to stand the scooter up or just trying to get their balance to stand on the scooter
I got it. i have on the ODM 700+km on it. Issues that i have had on it are as follows. 1. 200+km (singel motor mode) controller overheats at random times 2. 300+km (dual mode) brakepads replaced + left handelbar wobbling + back suspender top bolt missing 3. constant cleaning of brake system and suspentsion. (they have no protection ) 4. back brake system throws up dirt on to your right side. 5. 600+km left side scrue broke on the handelbar (replasment parts ... eem ye. drilled it out and added a new scrue) 6. 650+km main deck front 4 bolts (buttom) all loose 7. All the time horn in behind the front tire with a open hole (O_O ). where does the dirt go ? 8. All the time trottel leaver uses onley 1/6 of its full motion (all most like on off switch). There are more but thes are my top 8 things that make me regrett getting this Vsett 10+.
Price point wise Dualtron Eagle Pro. Would be interesting to see those two scooters go head to head. I'm not sure about the longevity of the Vsett and I do like the fact I could change out the suspension on the Eagle Pro with its various rubber grommets. I suppose you could do that with the VSett too with adjustable shocks. I bought the Dualtron Eagle Pro and have no regrets but this one would have been my second choice.
Great video!!! You guys are very good - Video, Hosting/Presentation, your research, and video production(s) are well put together I enjoy watching your work so much so I subscribed... Keep it up Cheers...
dude you guys nailed this review..... torque proof w the wheelies and on point need for 50MPH reasons.. is this a sine wave controller? im looking for something with neck snapping instant torque for off road drifts/thrashing, you guys have any recommendations under $2500.00?
I love the scooter except for two things, one which you mentioned and another I learned from another review. I don't like the finger throttle at all for reasons you mentioned. Also the display, per another review saying it is hard to read in direct sunlight. These high capacity EV scooters should come with a USB port for charging smartphones or for added lighting.
If you buy one, plan to fix flats very often. Also, fixing flats, even if you are experienced and have a workshop, is a lot of difficult work compared to a bicycle.
I've only had one flat in 800 miles, and it was on a rough gravel road with a friend that was 60lbs over the weight limit riding it, and I hadn't checked tire pressures in quite a while. Most flats on these are from user error from underinflation. Also, they're not that bad to change tires on, unless you have very little mechanical experience
Thinking about buying this to commute to work so I can save for a Teslas model 2 in 24’ or 25’ instead of wasting money on insurance gas and a car payment
I was thinking the same thinking about getting a horn plus putting 2 under bar mirrors on it might but the headlight over the middle yellow piece on the handlebars
The wolf king gt and Nami burn e are in a different class, they are both 72v scooters and are much faster than the vsett 10+, but are also much more expensive
@@Third_eyee Ja sind schneller aber vsett 10 x ist der atraktivste roller und die power ist bei ihm auch schon ubertrieben stark da brauchst keinen starkeren mehr
i know this video its almost 3 years ago but i wanna to see how this module of the scooter driving because i have an limited module of the vsett 10+ that you can't buy if you don't live in israel its called gforce with two 1500w engine and 3000w bc controller its going a little faster then the vsett 10+ i was reaching 85 one time in a long road and i don't need sport mod because my scooter dosen't have the 5 minutes cooldown because its didn't needs it great scooter its too bad that i was have an accident only one day after bought it
I just ordered mine. I wanted the +r but it was sold out due to my hesitation. But I’m sure the 10+ will be good enough. Hopefully it gets here unharmed. Hopefully this is better than my mantis pro.
Hey guys, what site is better to order this scooter from? Revrides or Alien Rides? Which is more reliable for replacement parts, accessories, and response time?
Guys my vsett28amp is gonna be under my feet in cca two weeks, i simply can’t express how much hyped i am :D to go from xiaomi mi2pro to this beast is gonna be unbelievable experience. I had a chance to try out one and am in love!
The V-10+ has an IP rating of only 44, which means that the V-10+ is water resistant, but not water proof. With an IP rating of 44, this scooter should be fine to ride in the rain, but you should never use it for mudding, avoiding puddles large enough to submerge the battery housing in water or mud, even for a second.
@@DakikK-TV Think of the V-10+ like a new iPhone. It's fine to talk on it while walking in the rain, & it's even splash resistant in the kitchen, but it is wise to keep it out of the swimming pool. Water resistant does NOT mean water proof!
I just bought this scooter a week ago from alien rides. I need to upgrade it to carry 250lbs ( me plus my equipment )through any terrain to get around my job. If anyone has what kind of shocks, brakes, tires etc I’d need drop a comment. I plan to run this scooter into the ground. Hopefully it lasts me more than a year.
Hello, nice video ! Can I use excerpts from the video (without sound) to illustrate what I'm saying in my video? This is for a french presentation video. Thank you for your reply. Yours sincerely 😉
That all depends on what metric you are using to make your comparison. i.e. Starting speed & distance? Definitely! Deck size & portability? Not so much. I have also heard that it is easier to D.I.Y. repairs & mod the V-10+, than most Apollo models, though I can't confirm this myself.
Also, the difference between a thumb or finger throttle is a HUGE difference for some riders & even a safety concern for some newer riders. Most cases of buyers remorse I've heard, has had to do with the throttle, deck size or key type. It's best to consider all of these points before making your purchase.
Hey did you have to bleed the breaks yet if so how hard or easy would it be to someone who isn’t mechanically incline I just watched the walkthrough from revrides YT page and I’m so confused me being in northern Virginia it’s hard to find good electronic scooter shops
For how long can I ride this beast without overheating without the "sport/boost mode" turned on, but with dual-motors turned on? Or does it not overheat at all as many other brands and models do? I would like to know better before I buy one and am not satisfied with my purchase.
What is the recommended mode that lets you travel around 20-25 mph? Would that be dual motor or single motor? I assume dual motor/sport mode would take you to maximum speed.
Hi there. 😁 I purchased 2 Vsett 10+ 25.6AH versions. This sucker is a BEAST!...You can go 27 MPH In gear 1 gps confirmed...😜 I haven't even rode it in dual motor mode because honestly there is no need to UNLESS YOU are driving on the main road. If you need to go faster, put it in gear 2 in single mode and your doing 35 MPH. Honestly you can turn the torque from 1 to 5 for blazing fast take off. You only need to have single motor gear 1 torque 2 for most rides around the neighborhoods and on small streets with cars 27 mph is fast enough. Need more speed slap it in gear 2. I never once used the sport button that I was all excited about because you never have to lol. It's blazing fast as is. But get a steering damper though. You MIGHT experience some wobble if your Super light like my Chinese wife going 30mph. Lol.
scooter laws are a gray area but to be sure governments will cash in sooner or later with rego, insurance and rider license. as specially like these coming out that have insane power and speed. they'll have speed camera's and all on bike paths. will be nuts. but so far scooters are running wild and free in my city down bike paths and down the streets with no problems. enjoy while it lasts.
The turn signal switch is located in each hand grip. You press on the rubber bump on the thumb side of each hand grip. The blinker turns off automatically.
I have one, it’s a super machine. I put a driving damper for high speed stabilization. Off-road tires is needed for even driving on grass otherwise too slippery.
The wheels and tires are way too small for what this is that's why I liked my ultra I was gonna buy one of those but I decided to go with an alternative for the range not so much for the speed but much bigger deck than that
