On a summer day this unit is using far more energy than you've pointed out. The "hot air" from the freezer is circulating throughout the cabin that needs to be cooled by the cars air conditioner. Double energy wammy.
I inherited one of these, seriously considering removing the front fork tubes and reversing them in order to then reverse the whole trike. Does anyone know how to remove Admotor trike upper and lower fork tubes? Just pointing the steering 180 degrees would work but, there's then not enough clearance from the down tube for fork travel.
I have 60QT roto moulded Ice chest that fits in the sub trunk and holds Ice for week and doesnt use zero Electricity. I have chemical Ice which last longer than normal ice
As for actual used cases, maybe a long road trip where you just needed to transport some thing at a very cold temperature and didn’t need to access it that much during the trip? You’d have to have the car maintain normal temperatures throughout and not leave the car unattended for more than a few minutes during that whole road trip in case the alarm goes off.
I bought a Coleman electric cooler at a garage sale for $10. It doesn’t fit in the subtrunk, and the cooling is similar to your unit, but it does come with wheels and a handle and a 110 connector.
It could be good to make ice for a normal esky. You keep cycling the ice packs. I do have a 35l car fridge/freezer that straps in on the back seat. We love it when you open a can and you have a layer of ice on top on a 40c day.
When I sold eggs at the farmers’ market, I bought some blue cold packs that froze at a temperature lower than 32F. That way, moisture condensed on them as frost instead of getting the cartons wet.
Have you guys reviewed the Eahora Romeo Pro II yet. That one looks very appealing. It is a little high priced. I did watch a review on it from a different guy but you guys do a much better job and give more details.
So the standard model comes with a 16 Amp Hour battery and the dual only has 9 Amp Hours more for a total of 25 Amp Hours. Yet you claim the dual batteries "almost" doubles the range even though the additional battery has 36% less Amp Hours! "Your claim" is somewhat true, but misleading because if you were to use the same setting on 2 different test rides the range with both batteries installed will be approximately the same. The dual battery setup does not come close to doubling the range without some serious input from cyclist utilizing a lower PAS level over a longer period of time. In short, to double range with dual battery setup in same period of time would requires 36% more amp hours! Finally, I was going to purchase this bike due to it double suspension and long wheelbase for "COMMUTING " as there are seriously bad road conditions where I live! However, I chose not do so, due to it not having "any" bosses to mount a front rack or water bottles... so I had to laugh when I heard; because it's an E-Bike you don't necessarily need water. You must purchase the dual battery model to get those bosses to mount a single water bottle that would otherwise mount the base to hold the extra battery! I turned my nose up at the Wired Freedom model for the very same reason; no bosses anywhere on frame or front fork.
I've run my BougeRV battery powered fridge for over 2 years without turning it off. Still kickin'. A 400 WHr battery powers it for over a day. Unit costs approx $300 holds 2 gallons of milk and more.
FRUNK ? Design one for the "less used" Frunk area. Or put this in the Frunk. Sadly, once you've designed and tooled up for production - changes are usually cost prohibitive. Thanks for the FACTUAL review.
I love my ACO cooler in the MY I have. Did have to hardwire the power cord to the 12-volt system, however. The plug was unreliable. Mine didn't come with a vent screen - just some tabs to elevate the cover up a bit. I don't think it's nearly enough. I'm considering adding a 12-volt fan to aid in air movement. Use ours constantly here in Texas so it gets put through the wringer. We use ours to primarily keep a brick of water bottles cold. So there's always cold water in unit if I add any fruits or some other items for a one-off transport occasion it helps to pull down the temp of amient items freshly placed in unit. If I wish to transport ice-cream or frozen items then i will remove most of the water and pre-cool unit down to 26° It doesn't have lots of cooling "horsepower" but with a bit of thought it works very well. I would definitely buy again. For M3 application, I would hardwire the unit and stash wire under the carpets/seats and not use the 12-volt plug. Waste of time and wire gets damaged long term. Plus, it takes up the one outlet available in the car.
the company that sometimes don't send a manual it's called a swytch bike it should be called a soon or later bike cause it takes ab long time receive it.
STOP… Do not purchase or rent an Unagi scooter. They have zero people to help after you’ve purchased a scooter it’s all AI. You won’t speak with a single real person to troubleshoot with you. The scooter was bought and used for 5 miles and it’s been shut down and we’re told to send it back to California which I have to pay for. 5 miles of scooter use and it’s all over. I’m obviously not getting my money back so I’ll continue to make everyone aware of how bad there after care is and hope anyone in the market for a scooter looks elsewhere.
Gentlemen, this is awesome...just purchased an EV from BMW and went with a different brand Level 2 charger. Came across this Wolfpack in my Amazon suggestions...had other questions, and saw your video review here on RU-vid...and now I am sold.... I will be replacing my current Level 2 Charger with this one...thanks again for the great video review!
The color in the right lighting is stunning. Couple of areas that I didn’t see addressed were the hill climb & seat comfort. The seat looks comfy; is it standard or added. Is the seat post adequate or does the bike need the added suspension? How was the suspension fork, as opposed to the non-suspension fork? Thanks for the review.
I wish I would've watched this video before I bought this scooter about 6 weeks ago for $170, because I really loved it until I started having issues with the battery and charger for a week now. The scooter has been unusable since then, until I figure out wtf is wrong with it
