Doing a quick oil change on my 2013 V-star 650 custom. I use Penrite 10W40 Semi Synthenic. It's the same for all 650 V-stars, XVS 650. This is a step-by-step of how I do it.
Great Vid. Thank you. I just changed the oil on mine, and I know the spec.s say 2.8L, but I just put 2.5L in and had to drain some out so that the oil was half way up the window where it should be - Have you ever had that issue? And yes - I also did an oil filter change.
