The initial checkout of a Vtech 5.8 GHz digital spread spectrum cordless phone with a digital answering system. The phone is model i6763 and appears to be one of the later 5.8 GHz models Vtech made.
The ringtone changing sounds as the volume goes up is genius, it boosts the frequencies that the speaker is best at reproducing, removing most distortion/vibration and making it much more audible. Though nothing will beat the volume of the old tweeters. To be fair, we are dealing with studio lighting here, most people's phone installation situations aren't going to be located in anywhere near that amount of lumens, therefore all these lights that appear very dim here probably won't be an issue in most cases. Yep, that answering quality is right up there with some of the late 5.8s and early 1.9s. Farmer Jones is getting old or something, each message is getting slower.
I wonder if they did that intentionally, or if that's just how the speakers produce it. If they did that intentionally, that really is brilliant. This is true, chances are if this were in the bedroom I'd have the opposite complaint. You seem to say that quite often, I don't notice it. He's always spoken rather slowly.
I’ve always found blue backlit keys, especially black handsets with blue backlights, to have a very sleek look. Today’s Connect to Cell models are like this.
Wow, that seems like a really solid phone! Do you know if they're common online, or where I might be able to find one? I could use a good set like this.
