Thank you so much for the help. Got a new phone set & the extra phone wasn't synced in. Followed your directions & it worked! You are amazing! Thank you so much! I always turn to RU-vid for problems & usually get the answers I need! Peggy in KY
My husband and I really enjoyed this video. The information that you provided was very easy to understand and very helpful. We were able to fix our house phone, that we thought was broken. We are very happy that our house phone is working now, thanks to your wonderful video. Thank you again for this information. Good Luck to you with your future endeavors!!!
THANK YOU SOOOOOOOO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can scarcely find the words to tell you how grateful I am. Even the VTech website was useless. I also couldn't locate landline repair technicians to come to my home to help me. I was so frustrated and anxious, I was actually suffering physically from the stress. My phone was not functioning for two weeks, but your video helped me in less than five minutes !! Bless your sweet soul. Thank you for your wise and useful advice. You now have a new subscriber !!
i am losing my mind. no phone svc billing not an issue nobody will call me and i have been without a phone for 2 wks am senior citizen and i find this frigtening dont know what to do and i cannot call anybody. im caught on a never ending wheel
Lifesaver. I bought a used Ebay handest and when it wouldn't connect I thought, "Well, that's $10 I flushed down the toilet." So good on you for the help :)
For an older less tech savvy person, like myself, this was great! I'd gotten another handset from Goodwill and couldn't get it sync or . . . register. De-Registering first ?!? Thanks a million !!
I was able to use these steps with the cs6609/ cs6649. Screen wording may vary a little but it worked. Thanks for the code. You saved me a phone I would have trashed.
To get my 4 needed handsets, I had to buy 2 phone sets with 2 bases. After a lot of playing and searching, I found this video. The trick was to deregister the 2 handsets from the one base then register them with the other base. Thank you for the help.
I am quite grateful for your video. I looked for information in Vtech but totally nefarious. With your video I was able to solve the problem of the telephones. Greetings from Mexico.
My dad came with a new phone and he was desesperated because it wasn't working, he doesn't speak english but lucky I do. Thanks a lot man, now we have a new beautiful working phone 🥰
Move from 1 house to another and 5 phones had same problem.. Thx for the inside tip! Wasn't about to call Panasonic.. All are back working, thanks to you!
Hello. Can you check the inscriptions on its AC adapter, does it say 110-240 volts? I know that socket plug type is US but I need to know if it supports 220 volts. SImply should state 110-240 volts.
purchased a 3 hand set radio shack phone. when it came only one of the 3 hand sets will work. 2 of them wont go past the connecting mode. i noticed inside battery compartment that the phone that does work is a cat 43-325 and the 2 that dont work are cat 43-327.....im assuming that means they belong to a different base. i tried to unregister and then re register but the phones wont come out of "connecting mode.even when pulling the battery and reinstalling .....any ideas ?
My phone was dropped in a glass of water. Now won't work, keeps saying either out of range or no pwr (minus the o and e} at base. Bought a new battery, still the same. Any suggestions?
i have tried this .. and it says REgistering.. however. if takes a bit of time... but then says 'to register.. see manual' .. which is the same as this.. WHY would the handset not be registereing to the base? battery is charged...i go thru comwave.. i un-registered the phone. thanks
Another tip is to remove all batteries from all phones, press the "find Handset" button until the light comes on, then press and hold it again until it flashes for about 7 seconds. This will de-register all phones at one time. This is according to my model's manual. It worked but I am still having problems registering the handsets.
Thanks, it worked very well for me ! But it just confirmed that they sold me a kind of refurbished set of 3 phones instead of new, like supposed to be !
Hello, sorry, I have an at & t e5813b and I can't make it connect to the base, the screen says another headset is on or out of range, can you help me please
I have a phone of the same model. I already did the mentioned steps and it still does not detect the base. I get a sign that says: To register HS see manual. what can I do to make it work?
Disconnect battery after the clear and it should reset. I tried 3 times no success until I took the battery out the headset, waited 10 secs or so and put it back in.
After i deregistered it it still said the same thing and then i plugged it in and pressed buttons and it didn't register.... Maybe i have a different issue?
I have 2 different sets and both have problems - one base keeps giving no power at base and the phones all show failed when trying to register. The other one registers the phones but none of the phones will give a dial tone. Four separate phones and none work with either of the bases - it seems the bases are the problem.
I got "new" phones from the store and had this issue, ur fix got one working , however I cannot get the secondary phone to register. It says registration failed
excellent tutorial. I don't have the manual and was about to give up b/c I would have never figures this out without one. thanks for the great information!
Hi! Does the base require 110v? Or 220v? Please help. I have a new one and it’s not registering and charging. I plugged it in to 110v power outlet. Please help. Thanks!
