Just got mine in today, it replaced my older tire inflator and super capacitor jump starter, the light on it is bright awesome red light flasher, inflated my truck tire like a soldier, very impressed with this device.

Just before I hit the Amazon "Add to cart" button I read the reviews which were impressive....until I was startled by two of them that warned of the Vtoman X7 starting a fire while recharging or while in use! One was in the house which had devastating results. They even had photos of melted X7 units, which of course stopped me in my tracks. Has anyone heard of similar problems? Thanks so much.

Do you leave it at the car all day? Website shows that the max temperature is 140F. Battery may get fire in hot summer, and i doubt insurance will cover fire damage to the car and worry they queation us that we should not leave it at car. But if we do not have it on car all the time, what is the points to own it? A safe jumper lead in cars is a hassle free option.

Don’t go places where it gets above 140° in your car. If you have to; keep it in a small ice chest

I wouldn’t recommend it. That’s hard on batteries.

@jimmylaw2137 I have kept the GooLoo GP4000 and GT4000 jumpstarters, and I have used them a lot for more than a year, the GT4000 includes a cigarette lighter adapter that I plug a bigger 12volt air compressor into to air up tires fast. Much faster than plugging the compressor into the car’s cigarette lighter

@@OldBondoBilly Thats what I am planning at the moment as well! I plan to get a GT3000. But I am still doing research on which air compressor to get, I want it to be compact. Having my eye on Ridgid 18V tyre inflator at the moment. Any recommendation?

The GT3000 does not include the cigarette lighter adapter, so I recommend the GT4000S that is on sale right now, and the UUP double cylinder tire inflator on Amazon. a.co/d/cZyTwh7

I highly doubt it can inflate a full-size truck or a suv with larger tires with that Itty bitty golf ball size Air pump. Get a dual pump if you want to get the job done quicker without an intermitten wait time for it to cool down.

KNOWN DEFECT... Brand new, 1st time out, tried to inflate a low tire. It pumped air for about 10 seconds then quit, tried several times, same result. Reached customer service, he was polite but zero help. Did more research and found numerous people had the exact same problem. Good thing I didn't put it in my wife's car for her, in case of an emergency. Sending it back today !
