Mannnn it's not been a single day I haven't seen this vedio . I just see it every time when I open ma fine bcoz of the bike Wich is awesome the sound the beat an the place you live it's so perfect an clean 10000 likes from me
WOW !!!!! 11 years ago. I wonder if you still own the bike, etc. That is a gorgeous beast that can obviously do any tight U-Turn any other bike can do.
Thanks for your help, I did that today both hoses were plugged into an plastic T with a small air filter on it ( believe I added that when I put Hypercharger ) and electric connection on end of T piece---I removed small air filter and clogged hole so both hoses would be able to get any air---It helped about 60% but still getting backfire mostly on decel between 1st and 2nd--I also lowered 2000R to 2-3-0 gunna run if it keeps up then mechanic--thanks again for your help. Jerry
Did you notice a hp or tq gain with the pipes and air intake or with the fuel management? I just purchased an 06 v2k and it seems like it has less power than my 16 vaquero 1700. Im looking to get some better performance and not sure what would be the best way to go. I love those pipes
Hi Tom, this is Ray from AAA MC Exhaust. I still look at your video from time to time only because I still think it's one of the best looking VN2000's out there! Must be that color and chrome combo that just makes it kick, huh? I also refer people to see it all the time for the sound. Thanks again, Ray
Screw the neighbors if they're that chincy. If they want quiet, get a yacht, go 300 miles out and drop anchor. But hey, I love your bike. That is super cool. Thank you so much for the video. I bet those pipes sound awesome at 70mph.
@tqrt1112 your getting all the popping becuase on decel because the excessive fuel being burned off through the exhaust. On top of both of your cylinder heads there is a hose which connects to your airbox. It is part of your EPA stuff, if that hose was blocked off you wouldnt have much popping.
Tom,...That is one Good Lookin motorcycle.... I've got a 2007 Nomad and yours seems to have a lot lower instep hieght with better feet on the ground control for such a heavey bike at low speed's... I now want one of these Damn thing's,,,, soon for the Spring ... Right -On !
Hey I have same bike and just installed the same pipes--I am using Cobra FI2000R as fuel management--I am getting backfire on deceleration and tried like 10 different settings but still the same ---what fuel manager are you using--Thanks
Nice bike bro,my buddy has a black and chrome one and he put a Cobra exhaust on it and his sounds good too. I love how they sound when they idle. Btw did u have to put a power commander on it? Cuz im thinking about putting those pipes on my M109R.
Hi there Ben, i sold the bike a while back but when i owned it i had a power commander on it. Not sure of the M109R plumbing but removing all the EPA crap from the VN2000 eliminated all the backfiring and popping. Hope that helps, cheers .
Hi Tom: I am thinking of picking up a Vulcan 2000 can you tell me your experiences with the bike so far ? I have read in some reviews some folks complain of a few bugs in the bike, such as issues in shifting gears and oil leakage. Don't get me wrong this can happen in any bike but this seems to have been issues in the Vulcan 2000. Thanks
i have had zero issues with the bike. 1st gear is a little short so i changed out the rear pulley, check the vulcan forums they can give you any info your looking for. I have no regrets in buying the bike, its a blast to drive
i had them chromed at a shop in texas, they had a pair done already and i just sent them mine back after i put them on. The bike is much different now, i put ape hangers and forward controls on. I can find the company if you really want it.
Yes, when you do a full exhaust you have to remap. Full exhaust increases the air flow. The stock map can't compensate enough and the bike will run lean. Running lean also makes the bike run hotter. You might want to get a higher flow air intake when you put your exhaust on and then remap. Full exhaust, upgrade air intake, remap. The remap will 1)Give you a noticeable jump in horsepower and torque. 2) make the bike run cooler, which will feel good for you and your valves will like it. You can get a 'canned' map dropped into the eco, get an auto tuner, or have it dyno'ed. Revzilla has a Power Commander and a couple of others. You could call them and ask what work be good fr your set up. Enjoy your new pipes!
that sucks, ill put a message on the forums for ya to see if anyone has them. I just sold mine a week ago because i had the bike painted and some custom work done.
@@tombeaudet2000 Thank you for respond, I like this style, I was thinking about Harley Davidson DELUXE or buying second hand Kawasaki VN 2000, perhaps even Honda 1300 VTX and bring bike to the look like you have. Having this bike in garage is like having some valuable picture on the wall in the living room.
i talk to phat performance they check their system and didnt find anything. i gave them your name they show you bought them for a vulcan 900 no one has the ones for a 2000 available. damn!
Dude, please never ride in flip flops, even to the corner and back, you will mess yourself up terribly if something goes wrong. Beautiful bike, thanks for the video.
Never go to FL or anywhere that MC ownership is high percentage. You'll have a breakdown. Probably not the best decision if your #1 priority is reduction of roadrash, but that's the cool thing about personal responsibility...it's your decision/choice
