I did the same stupid thing. I started my Vulcan S without any exhaust system and forgot that I disconnected the oxygen sensor. I had a check engine light on the speedometer. It took four trips of at least ten miles each for ECM to clear the CEL on its own. I have a 2018 Vulcan S in the exact same color, except I have black trim along in the orange paint. I installed a CS Racing exhaust on mine, along with a few other upgrades. Word of advice. Do not tighten any bolts until the whole exhaust system installed and adjusted to obtain the best fitment. Once adjusted, start at the cylinder heads and tighten the exhaust flange bolts first then work your way to the back.
5:34 i think you should have flipped it around so that the head of screw is facing you It would be easier to screw and long bit of the screw wouldn't be visible
Hi! Does the exhaust have a db killer installed? Can it be removed and put on easily? I'm thinking about buying it and I thought it didn't have anything!
I’m curious!? Did you leave the baffle in? It sounds like a dream exhaust. By changing the stock one out how did the weight feel did you notice a difference also did the bike through any codes? I’ve read if you take the baffles out of any bike it can actually effect performance and cause damage to the engine
reviewed alot of videos and i just ordered the CS Racing for the Vulcan S 650. I think that one is the absolute best for sound but also the design is perfect for the vulcan
@@brettmarkusic Did find that delkevic make some to the vulcan S that looks quite good. Still not as uniq as the OEM, but might be worth it for the sound 😊
Sounds great! I’m ordering the TBR for my bike and was curious as to whether or not you installed a Power Commander. If not, have you had any issues without having one?
Hey don. No I don’t have one on my bike and I haven’t had a single issue. I thought I may have needed one but iv had it on there for about a year now and not an issue at all.
@@procaile9054 Awesome, thank you! That’s what I was hoping to hear.... Appreciate the input. I really like the minimalist look of the exhaust vs. some of the others. I’ll be pulling the trigger tomorrow....
@@dongranizo9100 heads up - TBR clarified on their RU-vid channel thag a Power Commander is NOT needed, though it can help. I wondered the same when I ordered mine.
Hey Tyler, i actually didn't need to do anything with the oxygen sensor it didn't have an issue with the factory one and the only change i made was the exhaust so i didn't install a command or gas module.
What are the extras that i need to have a smooth process? Like what O2 sensor adapter did you use? And is there anything else that i need to have. Like tools, adapters, extra screws.
Hey Mariano. Everything that was needed is provided with the exhaust. Like the adapter and all the screws. All you really need is a socket set and an Allen key. The only think I would recommend is maybe a extension for your socket to make it easier to take the exhaust off. It’s actually a really good product. Super simple and comes with instructions.
Just had a glimpse at your rego, seems like VIC. Do you do group rides? I am keen to join one, my bike has been stalled in my garage for almost a year now.
Hey man yeah I do go on group rides but I don’t actually live in Vic anymore. If your looking for people to ride with there are heaps of Facebook pages for it in Vic that’s what I used to do, I just looked it up on Facebook.
so tighten speccs are 2 "grunts" ? or just 1 ? :D .. brave man tightening it into Aluminium like that haha .. anyways awesome sound after .. its a real Neighbour hater :D didnt it need any rejetting after ? .pondering getting 1
Awesome Mate!!!! Can you send me a link to purchase the same exhaust system???? Going to buy the same model of bike soon. Thanks so much for yur help!! God bless
Hey man thanks, Here is a link you can get it www.twobros.com/products/kawasaki-vulcans-comp-exhaust. If your buying your bike through a dealer ask if they stock it because i got mine 20% off because i got it when i got the bike. Also good choice its an awesome bike.
Hello, can you help me? I want to buy this product, but there is no direct shipping to my country, I will have to import it, can someone tell me the dimensions and weight of the box, please.
Hey Pawel. I have tried to do some research for you and i really couldn't find a definitive answer. On their website when looking the exhaust system up it does say "closed course competition only" but i know here in Australia it is perfectly legal. Possibly your best bet would be to contact them here is their email info@twobros.com. hope it helps.
That stock exhaust is so ridiculous and so quiet wtf they thinking in that Kawasaki this bike is too dangerous with a stock pipe because nobody can hear you coming , hell nobody can hear you inside of the car when you standing next to them on traffic lights......
