You can also hook the TIG gas to the spool gas spot on the front and it works perfect push the pedal and gas comes on let off and gas turns off no more manual valve on torch just leave it open and gas works like it should
Bought the omnipro 220 found out it it didn't have high frequency start so even with the foot pedal the tig was scratch start 🤬 took the welder back to local harbor freight and traded for the protig 205 that welder does not disappoint even on 110 it welds damn good but with 220 its a beast
However, I have used a Lincoln 210mp. While it in itself is a good machine, if you buy it, you are paying for a name. Its got a good warranty and welds just as beautifully. Damn good deal!
I had sold a millermayic 220 acdc and bought this only drawback is o ac tig for aluminum but its 1/3rd price of the miller. Its is a damm good welder for the price I am impressed
Thats a frunk....not a trunk! Cool though, just got mine last week. Gonna check it out tomorrow. Maybe hide some candy, jerky and a juice pouch in there for days that I get hungry or thirsty.
I taught myself to weld with RU-vid University and my Clarke 130EN I got for $50. Traded that for a trailer, sold it for $950 and got myself the welder I REALLY wanted, the Omnipro 220. Got it for an unbelievable $650, and it was unopened. Best $50 investment of my life!
I grab one about 18months ago runs great I got everything tig set up foot pedal spool gun and a flow meter all for under 2k out the door. Overall not bad good deal for the cost its a tough machine pushed it really hard. So far it's still alive. Also its lived outside or the a truck bed since I got it. What I dont like....its burns 7018 kinda weird and hard to start but gets it done also the mig gun is junk it's good for a what it is but I put a better mig gun on it from my praxair supply house. The only machine in this class I'd pick over it is the esab rebel 205 ic ac/dc. Only because the esab can do ac tig and has HF start.
@zinanwattstreeguy well tbh I haven't used the tig side yet but I do have alot of experience with scratch start tig so it should function Ina similar fashion maybe without the stretching motion. I got it as a solid mig box but having the added features is a bonus when im not always able to get my big lincoln diesel machine to a job. But I ran .045 solid wire the other day welding up 1/2 plate and I'll be damned it did it. I did pre heat ans run multiple passes to just be safe but this thing chooches.
@@devinmanderson I got one a few months ago and friggen love it, bought a titanium plasma 45 yesterday to compliment it So far only done stick and fcaw-s with it, it chooches, soon enough I'm going to build a cart for the 2 machines, so far so good although I'm still skeptical since it is harbor freight after all
Lol, as soon as you revieled the compartment, I paused the video , ran to the garage and checked. Lol how did every review miss it? I guess you can store tips or the wire feed roller in there. Not much room
