Vulcan welding cart. Unboxing and assembly. 

I have this cart. Kinda disappointing to be honest. Maybe it's just mine, but all the rivnuts had crap in the threads and several had damaged threads that stripped with almost no tension on the bolts. The upright handles and other parts that have bolts running through crush pretty easily, even with the cheap hardware supplied. I would prefer nuts and bolts for construction, but with no internal support for the square stock or the round handles it doesn't really matter. The little box the hardware comes in is supposed to be used to hold consumables once the cart is in use. That would be great except for the rancid stench that won't go away even after cleaning it multiple times. Whatever oil was used to keep the hardware from corroding has leached into the plastic itself. I like most Harbor Freight stuff but this one isn't something I would buy again, had I known what I do now I would not have purchased it at all.

Yep I agree, the first cart is poorly made. I have 2 of them ( ugh ), but I will modify them to work for now. Stay safe. Terry.😊

When I decided to take up welding I bought a cart and frankly don't know where I bought it but found it online. It's made by Metal Man and it can handle large tanks. It has very good wheels and the front ones lock easily. I bought a new plasma cutter this year and I decided to buy a new cart and found one on Amazon and boy it was cheap and it looked just like the one from harbor freight. I changed the angle of the top shelf so the machine would stay where I put it. I made 2 more of hooks to hold the cables better than to just let them hang.

Very nice cart. If only they made it in a stackable so you could have a plasma cutter and a welder on the same cart.

Been looking for one, still looking. Need like a three shelf to also contain plasma

I really like the idea of rev nuts vs nuts and washers.

how would you compare the arc captain and yes welder to the Lincoln welder both flex core and mig?
