Hello! In this vlog I am sharing my honest and vulnerable thoughts about moving out after divorce, how I am coping, and what I am feeling right now. This feels like a new chapter in my life for sure and with moving out comes feelings of moving on which is great... but there is also a lot of pain and hurt during this process. I want to document exactly how I feel during this in hopes to help others out there feel less alone. Thank you for posting this. I’m struggling with this now. I moved to my husbands home town and now we are getting a divorce and I feel confused if I should stay or not. My family is also moving across the country so I cannot rely on them for any sort of stability. I tried twice visiting another state to get a clean start but it just caused me more anxiety. Having more change on top of the change of divorce is so hard. Thanks for sharing your story, it helps me to not feel alone in my thoughts.

Lauren those lies are from the Devil. He is real and wants to destroy you and keep you from God’s promises. You have been beautifully and wonderfully made. God is with you. You have the power to rebuke those thoughts, they are not from God. I’m going through the same, in two weeks I’m moving out of my ex boyfriend’s apartment. We were trying to have a baby and now I’m here at my parents at 38. This video is old and I know you are doing better now and you’ve come so far. God bless you sister! ❤

I know it's difficult.. But look at the move as a brand new start in life! Leave the negatively in those apartment walls behind and tell yourself how much you deserve this exciting life that will begin when you are in your own home!! I wish you all the best!

Love you friend! You are having a chance to completely make a space your own and create new memories in that aren’t marred by him. And how beautiful is that! Have you read “The Body Keeps the Score”? I’m listening to it now, it’s so good! It talks about how people with trauma go back to and long for those traumatic times and relationships because there is a level of comfort to the familiar. So it makes so much sense in what you’re feeling about moving and him. ❤

Hello! Congrats on the new space. It's perfect that youre getting it. And please remind yourself that what youre feeling is 100% normal. Its not even just the comfort you had with your familiar situation. Your ex was apart of you, and as an extension of that everything you shared with him, like the space, is apart of you. When you leave the last time you ARE losing a part of yourself. And thats scary to think of, because its going to feel like "im cutting a chunk of myself away and losing it forever." What you have to remember is that that part was a very dark part. A NECESSARY part, but a dark part nonetheless. And that part served its purpose. So now its time to make peace with it, thank it for the lessons and the strength you got from it, and breathe. Take one step, then the next, say goodbye to that piece of you. Cry if you need to. WhatEVER comes along with leaving that part of you for the last time. And remember that you have so many better things ahead of you. Its going to feel so amazing and liberating when youre in your new space and when you now have a visual representation of your brand new chapter. Im so excited for you. Wishing you all the best and cant wait for your moving content, and life update about how wonderful everything is 😊
