Had a day with Mark this week 1 to 1 training in some stunning weather on beautiful ground in Sussex, took loads of info away from the day, and was amazing to learn what your rifle can stretch out to given the right tutution, was also impressive to watch Mark stretching his .22 rimfire out to some impressive distances, thanks again for a great day
Well worth it. I recently started range shooting again. Doing the range safety course reminded the "old infantry brain" that we all need a refresher every so often. Training is a damned fine thing.
Awesome, Mark!! You have been planning this for some time now, correct? What a good time! I'll be checking out your website. I know this would be one hell of a time. Video looks great too, Mark. One hell of a job, like always!
@260rips. Have watched tons & tons of your vids, really inspired by your talent as you come across as pretty damn good shot. Silly question this but going to ask it anyway, I’ve also been watching a lot of documentaries lately on the assassination of JFK November 63. As an experienced marksman, what’s your take on rattling off 3 shots in under 7 seconds from an elevated position at a range of less that 100 yards on a moving target without the benefit of preconception preparation.
Oo there’s an interesting one! I’m pretty sure that Mike yardley once recreated this event with the same rifle and set up with a mock target scenario (not sure if it was on RU-vid or via a series of magazine articles - possibly in sporting rifle magazine back in the day? 🤔) I believe he concluded that it was possible. I believe by all accounts that Oswald wasn’t an outstanding marksman but then on a slow moving vehicle less than 100 yards it wouldn’t be a particularly difficult shot yet 3 shots in 7 seconds is pretty rapid but yes possible. Did he make all those shots and was he acting alone? I’m certainly not convinced and he was quickly silenced before he could say otherwise 🤷🏻♂️
