Well ive heard about this video for a long time but only just watched it 😂, brilliant shooting, glad you didnt get it first or second time because that would just be sickening!! 😂 I dont think with any of my scopes I'd even see an orange at that range.
I think considering the angle at which they were dropping in at they would have clipped the edges at very least if that were the case but I like your confidence in my shooting! 😆😉
Indeed, and if I were just target shooting I possibly would, however I found that when foxing at night, trying to fit the rifle into this type of attachment too awkward so I prefer the clamp 👍
Absolutely brilliant ,Picked one up on last week A pleasure not to be connected with Bluetooth all the time and burning batteries out Was ranging crows at 840 /1209 yards very accurate & fast laser ping Fantastic element app as well to go with it For Changing profiles ! Ready for the feilds to be harvested lol Ricocheted off that pistol 😆😂 Good video mark
What size of steel target do you use for that range , I'm after one to try out , out to 500-600m, thinking 8", is this suitable or too small? Thanks Though I'm thinking first a 4' square sheet of ply so I can learn my drops and hopefully catch the wayward early attempts. 🤣
We were using high Quality photography tripods for shooting years ago it’s no new thing. What’s new is the crap tripods that are rebranded and sold at vastly inflated prices to the gullible shooting fraternity that believe the crap on Utube. Just buy a good quality camera tripod and shop for a non branded clamp. Or Arca rail if you have a m lock comparable stock. All available from Amazon or eBay for a fraction of the price. No it’s not cammo or got a fancy name but it’s top quality kit.
Yes there’s one advertised on Amazon at the moment that looks the same and is carbon fibre so just as light which is £220, and a pig saddle for what £150 or whatever they are you are about the same price as the Rekon I’m using 🤷🏻♂️ or buy something like a Spartan for a grand 🤦🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️ I like them and would buy another if something happened to this one and I’ve used a lot of quad sticks, trigger sticks and tripods, but each to their own 🤷🏻♂️ Lots of stalkers happily use garden canes for sticks which are fine until you try a good set of quad sticks then you see the difference👍
Only the footage with the crosshair, however this is a poor representation of the units performance as I was using a Nightvision rear add on to record what I was seeing through the scope which made it very bright and fuzzy. The one down side to the 3/38 is that it doesn’t record 😒
Thats the way!! Ive got a decent tripod, not exactly thd same but yes, the confidence and stability builds quickly. practice on paper, then on the bunnies, then go bigger, best ive had so far is 270m fox at night off the tripod. Was looking at some 600m foxes the other night but thought better of it😂 my ballistic data in the alpex is only estimated velocity.
Nice one Mark!! That pistols awsome!! Ive got the alpex and zulus, would be cool to see you do the same test as that using the onboard alpex ballistics for example. 👍
Being completely honest I wasn’t asked to produce this video and don’t get anything for doing it so I’m not pushing it I’m simply recommending it 👍 I like the rekons and use them all the time (as you can see by the wear on mine 😆)as they are well made, lightweight and more stable than any other tripod on the market that I’ve used. My mate went from a Spartan to one and another mate binned his trigger sticks in favour of one of these 😉
