"When the servers don't crash" if when they do, it's horrible and dreadful, it's like : "Hey today I wanna flip a coin ! What will it be CIG ?" (Yes, not everyone rely on this game for their mood aye ? Just a small joke)
I love how Drake ships just work so well together, Caterpillar + Vultures is just perfection and the Cutty Black even has painting on the floor perfectly fitting 2 dragonflies. No other manufacturer has that level of harmony between their ships.
315P even better - tractor beam accessible from pilot seat and its facing foreward out in front of the nose - so, no having to maneuver to work behind the ship
@@lights4bre890 on paper perhaps, but the 315Ps tractorbeam isnt gimballed and you cant enter its remote turret. And there are cargo guards so you cant just yank the cargo from the front.
Caterpillar for life!!! Who doesn't want one? I can't wait to have all its features completed, like cockpit detaching and door lifts for ease of loading cargo.
Yeah it was a surprise hit for me - i was not super excited about the ship based tractor beams beforehand but seeing how much they add to the capability of the ships that have them i think they are an amazing addition to the game :)
Kate your videos are so calming to watch. Your step by step narration is fantastic and often helps me figure things out in my end too that I may have previously not known about. Keep up the great work!
I love how open ended this game is, I love the way you can come up with crazy ways of doing things like this and even though the profits arent as good as other things playing a game like this with friends makes it more fun :)
Great fun watching the video, just goes to show what an efficient crew can do. It kinda feels like the vultures are eating whats left of a carcus just like the bird irl, makes so much sense naming it the vulture.
Fantastic work processing the Kite. This is the same technique we use on salvage missions except on a smaller scale with a Cutlass and a vulture. Thanks for posting.
It'd be really awesome to get an operation large enough to tackle Wake of Destruction in this manner, a couple of Cats, a half dozen Vultures and some defenders!
Great Team work. I have been a viewer of your channel for over a year. I finally jumped into Star Citizen partly due to your vids. I am enjoying the experience greatly. Thanks for your vids and God Bles you.
That's exactly what my org did last night. We setup a chop shop in d eep space. However half the ships towed in were invisible to most of us which caused obvious problems :)
It's also as munch effective as a reclaimer and needs less crew (3 for this method compared to 4-5 in order to not have the cargo guy going full sweat from the elevator to the cargo bay in the reclaimer) it also costs munch less in game, about 7 millions for 2 Vultures and a caterpillar compared to 15 millions for the reclaimer so twice the price, just need some cohesion but it's very cool
this is a great way to overcome the vulture's relatively small cargo space, I love these kinds of big cargo operations ^^ will be trying out salvage for the first time today :D
I don't think I'd have picked a loop like salvage and recovery left to my own devices, but seeing the emergent gameplay from it just makes me excited. Great video!
Just dropped back from the Vulture Munching video and so excited for the upcoming changes. Thanks for showing chill industrial gameplay while I am away from my primary PC.
Awesome video! Proof that a couple good friends working together can make anything that much better! Thank you for this! Oh! And VERY interesting at the end for the question about salvage after stripping and destruction!
Amazing content, I really like the cinimatic footage and music combined with how you let us all know what's happening, it really helps me who is new to the game, thanks.
Just starting playing, brother got me into. Loved your gunship pvp videos, and these fun looks at the PTU. Gotta say I'm hooked on getting to merc work and salvaging. I'll stay tuned for sure!!!!! Thanks for the content
I spent yesterday essentially as a deckhand tractoring cargo onboard a C2, and it was a great time. It was like actually co-ordinating cargo recovery from wreckages.
*This* is the kind of video that should be featured frontpage AND pinned on RSI's site for new players that find themselves being persistent with heir sessions in the Verse. A prime example of us seasoned pilots reminding new Citizens, "there's plenty to do & the option of making your own fun with what's available.". Beautiful crew coordination throughout this event.
Great video! Very enjoyable to watch your gameplay. Had a chance to test C1 tractor beam and the location above ramp works quite well for moving cargo in and out
Just a great demonstration of the capabilities of salvaging with friends, I have done this before on a much smaller scale with 2 friends, but that was before the salvage change for it not counting as stolen so we didn't earn much.
Your videos are the best at showcasing star citizen at what it's designed for. Creating your own game loops using what's available. Reminds me of me and my couple friends. Not to mention the minds blown of people who may not have ever seen star citizen.
Whats great about the video is that it shows how SC allows players to approach missions in different ways. A caterpillar + 2 vultures is one way and i sure many others could find other combinations that best suit their skills and ships available to their party members
I absolutely love the salvaging in this game. Once munching is in things are going to be even better with a swarm of vultures literally picking a ship apart
It's really cool to see these game mechanics actually functioning in-game! Can't wait to see more and more content as team labour resources are freed up from Squadron 42!
Fantastic event! Thank you so much for sharing! ♥ That looks so fun! I love the Cat. I just wish the tractor beam was at the end of the wing and not tucked in so far.
Always enjoyed your narrative gameplay content. Lots of fun watching you try to figure out whatever is creating different issues. See ya'll in the verse!
The ship towing gun makes the game richer and more interesting. I feel that Star Citizen is moving step by step towards a fulfilling and diverse gaming experience.
