Can confirm this one was not fun but it was worth it in the end. The cars back together with 4k miles under its belt since the rebuild.

I have a mk5 golf 2.0 tdi First car, bought at 169k miles, service history paperwork all fake it turns out, all original parts, that have been systematically failing. Never worked on a vehicle before this. Now I do bits on everyone I knows cars lol I currently have suspected injector seal leaking and suspected cam knocking, head gasket also needs checking. Luckily I recently met someone who is wicked with cars and incredibly kind, going to learn with him how to do this inner stuff as I was very anxious at the thought of this, I'm nowhere near the level of messing with timing bits and an actual engine teardown, so I am very lucky to have met him. But yeah anyway, it's so fun, can make you swear a lot, but so worth it. If you like knowing how things work proper and appreciate good engineering etc, why would you not enjoy doing this 😅 Love the video, guy even admits he's no mechanic, but he's straight in anyway 🤘🏻🤘🏻
