I used to drive that car when i worked for vw let me say this.... AWESOME car they every made it got speed comfort power handling evrything for good price and the good looking
Nice ride but the design of the front mask I think it´s too much silver... I´d really like to see VW Touran R-Line 2018 1.4 TSI 150 PS. Hope You will shoot it :)
Competitive with what ? The only car in this class with that kind of power is the Kia Stinger GT and i'm not sure this can really compete with haldex and a 4cyl
I don't think it needs much more power, but torque could be a bit better since most of the performance cars using this engine make more than 350nm now, and the Arteon looks quite heavy. 310ps/400nm like in a Golf R would be ideal I think.
if you buy a passat for 26 000 its great car with great build quality! But when you take arteon for 45 000 and above!, then you realise that build quality for that price range is very poor. Arteon have the same plastic buttons and plastic inserts in doors like any other vw (passat, golf) I drive the arteon and the new audi a5. And a5 for same money is "10x better car". Insolation is better , driving is a little bit better but not such a deal breaker, but interior quality is much, much better in audi then in arteon. when you buy an audi, you know what are you paying for, but when you pick arteon you pay only for beautiful design (for know). Its better to wait a year, they will get much cheeper. My tested arteon has also dynaudio sound system (which is amazing!), but because the speakers are so powerful i could hear rattles in doors all the time! it was very disturbing. btw i drive new golf sportsvan 1.6 tdi r-line. i am not an audi fanboy! i speek objectively.
