Hello! We lifted the first AWD MQB (Alltrack) back in 2016. At that point we found the majority of handling sacrifice comes from the positive or near positive camber with bolt through style spacer lifts. This same issue affects spring lifts and even coilovers that retain the OEM strut mount and bearing. If your wife has an interest in giving a lift kit another shot. Give us a shout, we would be happy to hook you up and hear your feedback!
I really appreciate your comment. Overall not unhappy with the lift after a while just thought it could be better. I’d love to do another one and review it but the only mqb car I currently have is a lowered Arteon. I do currently have a lifted Touareg on a Eurowise 2” that I’m enjoying.
You installed the rear spacer into the wrong position. The rear spacer goes into the trailing arm. It has a "nub" that allows the factory spring isolator to snap in to it. That was why you had the spring issue.
