Does the component need programming? Or once codes are cleared it should recognise different parameters being fed back.

No need to program , just plug and play.. fault codes will need clearing though 👍👌

Hello mate, Got errors: U029E (lost communication with nox sensor “B”) P220B (Nox sensor supply. Voltage circuit bank 1 sensor 2) P22A7 (nox sensor heater sense circuit range/performance bank 1 sensor 2) Any help? 2 weeks ago i change whole engine and from then 3 bulb lights i had to change, and now this. Do you think they didn’t wired it back correctly and is making me troubles? Or is just coincidence. Thank you!

They are all normal codes for the nox sensor going down but is odd if they’ve come on strait after the engine swop.. I’d be have a good check at the wiring look to the sensor first to make sure nothing been caught

I've got the "Adblue Error, will not start in 600 miles" error showing every time I start my 2015 caddy, and the garage i've taken it to says it's the NOx sensor - is this the same NOx sensor or are there more than one? Thanks for the video!

I wonder is it nox controller block fault or a sensor that sits in the pipe. Maybe sensor is just dirty, have you tried to clean it?

yeah its usually the ecu section that fails mate, never had any luck cleaning them

@@diydaly i sprayes nox sensor with maf cleaner also contacts with contact cleaner and put it back. After couple 100km no more errors!!! Saved 600€ just not sure for how long.

My error code was p220B and is 17 mercedes with 160kkm. New sensor cost over 600€

“Probably the NOx sensor”, but I’ll just replace it” it’s bloody expensive “ but it’s a lease car. Typical of modern mechanics. I’ve never known a sensor to come off that easily

Hi Ian , yes I admit it was a lease car and I was only going off the code but we've replaced over 50 of these nox sensors on caddy vans for the same fault and never had 1 not fix the fault.. We even keep one in stock there that common, the codes comes back on strait away so its quicker for us to simply try the part and test it first .. As for it coming out out , im always dead strait up in all my videos as I personally am not a fan of people not showing everything as it should be in a real life situation , these are all vans under 5 years old and ive never not had a rear one come out... as for the front ones.. its another story! between nox sensors & temps sensors ive had loads seized in 😬 . not on the caddy but mainly sprinters or other others. If you watch some of my videos you see I come across a few issues and show how to tackle them as best I can. One video I recall for not being honest about real life situations is most people removing the Audi A4 top pinch bolt.. they never come out!! ive seen 3-4 videos where they simply unbolt and tap it through!lol

Mines just gone at 44k P220B00 Nox sensor 2 bank 1 Voltage supply electrical fault Permanent Is this the same as you changed ? Also is the link on eBay the correct part Mines a 66 plate 2.0 Tdi caddy

Tried all the links for parts and the only one which worked was ebay. None of the others could find the part even after entering vehicle registration. Good video otherwise.

Tried the ebay link for the sensor but its only showing Audi a3 im having a nightmare trying to find the correct sensor my caddy is mk4 2.0 tdi 105 bhp
