I have made the panel for the roof which acts as shelf to get stuff out of the way when the bed board is up. But have been thinking of an alternative curtain hanging arrangement as I can’t use the pole as the. Shelf is in the way. You’re idea of a baton across is ideal. So I’ve. Snaffled that one. Ta!

A great bit of problem solving there Mick I love it especially with the extra storage. My converter fitted 2 side rails to pull a carpeted piece backwards & forwards to block that hole up when the top’s down. When the top is up that piece then makes a great shelf area at the front (not sure I explained that well). I like your cab curtain solution, still not sorted mine. Thanks for sharing, Sue 👍

Wouldn't like to see the stuff in them fly into and break the windshield if you ever need to brake suddenly. Maybe a latch switch thing in the middle that you can turn to hold them in place?

Like I mentioned in the video, all I would be storing up there is lightweight (packing cubes with socks, T-shirts etc) kit, that will be almost wedged in. There is also a lip (square batten) stopping anything from ‘flying out’ or forward. Thank you for your feedback…

@@caspervanlife8466 I'd prefer a simple latch to being limited as to what I can store there. Musta skipped through that bit where you specified what would go there, right to the end where the shelf was, sorry of it was offensive not knowing.
