@BestArc-offical Huge classic car show featuring VW Beetles Busses and Corvair. They also have some very nice attractive people around. Beach walk and cars on the Pier.. Very nice to see the people family walking around. Dancing women and percussion session.

Thanks for watching......There were a few clips that I slo-mo and some were not intended to be sexual or some were images that needed to be slow just to see what was going on in the background or great scenery behind. For instance the girl getting pictures in front of her car was a fun site with a great view of the ocean behind her. I wanted to show what the guy taking picture of her was taking. And the fact he said stand in front of the bondo was classic. Some were just people walking around. Now the beach scenes. well that is reality of being at the beach. The woman walking with her husband or boyfriend. I was looking for a thumbnail with either one or both of them in it. They just looked so perfect for a beach show. I did not know what frame or lighting would look best so I slomo the clip so it is easier to get the clip I wanted to be in frame. Some people say this is perv. And some of it may well be but not everting that I slomo is intended for that. so please dont be offended. if you are in a portion of the video in slomo.

Hey Mike! I was the guy in the "Mobile cocktail bar" at 3:10 I would have loved to have given you the tour and spoke more. I was still setting up and was a bit behind. It was a great turn out. Mike the silver vert is a 66 but had a early deck lid on it 62 to 63 remember 66 67 only had center dif vent on dash . and 66 had a one year only 4 way all red flasher ..

Hi Mike.. Greetings from Brazil. I believe That blue Bus it's not from here. That big back door not the engine one, above (I don't know how you guys call it. Hatch maybe.??!!) Started on production in Brazilian Bus only in 1998. Before that that door has the same size that came in yours 67. The American 67 model still been fabricated up to 75 here

Ive a 82 Vanagon. Have you experience a blocked exhaust catalytic convertor? My air cooler motor dies on me every 100 miles ir so, then if i wait for an hour it usually starts again. Im stumped😢

Top speed for a 40hp is 72mph according to the owners man. How'd ya do it? Cool show. Ex San Diegan. In the 60's, you could catch a fishing boat at the end of the pier and fish the Islands on a 1/2 day boat.

40hp was the first year of the full synchro trans. they had 4.37 gears and .89 4th. 36hp had crash box and a 4.37 gear ratio with .82 4th and a taller 3rd gear. The gear ratios on the 36 were favorable for freeway driving. I think they were near the same HP and torque combination and with the gear ratios the 36 was better driving. I always thought they had the same HP I cant tell the difference between them in power. but with the stock trans the 36 was better. IMO.

@@Mikefngarage Interesting Mike. Yes i am aware of the gears. I could do 75 at 3,000 feet above sea level (where I live) with 009 dizzy and 30mm carb. 25 mpg though. Went back to restored 28 carb and big cap vac. dizzy. 30 mpg now. 72 top speed. I tell people... if I can't do 72, it's tune up time. Haha

@@brianchisnell1548 yea those gears make it feel like it has more power too. if you run a 36 and a 40 in the same car they feel virtually the same. I straight piped the mufflers and that gave me another 3mph and it climbs hills better. most freeway humps it never goes below 65 just long hills it drops to 53. long steep ones.

@@brianchisnell1548 Pee shooters pull them out of the muffler. put in straight pipes. they need to be welded because of the pipe sizes. then check the mixture. Mine was just a bit lean so I put a larger main in. gets up and goes now. Sort of like putting on a abarth muffler. about the same improvement.

I think the first year for flashers was 66 so it might be at 65

65 had a separate flasher bulb mounted in the dash. that is what I was looking for. it was located on the left or right side next to the speedometer. im not sure what the switch looked like. I had a 64 65 66 and 67

Why am I "not" seeing any 1969 fastbacks fuel injected automatics? I just picked one up and it cost me $300, well maybe $350 with gas mileage to pick it up, it needs floor pans and windshield but basically it's complete, came with a title and keys as well. It may need a driver's door panel and windshield replaced, please shoot me a message on this if you know the value of it or why am I not seeing any fast backs, are they rare?

@@Mikefngarage I think what we are all trying say is that we like your content how it was, and you shouldn’t need to include 5+ minutes of unrelated… especially the slow mo content for some views, focus on the quality of your videos we all have come to know and enjoy

@@aloooox Unfortunately I need to get a wider audience. Since this is the only income I have right now need to experiment on getting a thumbnail that will bring in more watchers. I did this last year and it got 10 times the views and watch time as the other videos. I would love to not do this but the paycheck I am drawing is 5 grand short of my needs.

@@Mikefngarage have you considered a paterion or something similar? As you could put some detailed guides on there, the VW has lots of random how to videos, but not a definitive library of content on how to do things, I’d definitely subscribe to that, I understand it’s your only paycheck at the moment, but I’m sure there are other methods to reach the view targets you are wanting other than clickbait/pervy content

@@aloooox RU-vid algorithm is giving me nothing. I really dont think Patrion would do anything for me. I rarely ever even get a superthanks . there are just a few locations at the beach were people are expecting this sort of thing and it works. so it is what it is . Some will not like it but others watch more. On average it pays off pretty well. it cost me over $100 just to get to this site and back right now at 7 a gallon. and 30 entrance. I need to recover that cost. Only way is to have some of what is already there in the video. already video is doing better than the last 10. It is not every video only these certain locations that work better. I did this last year. I dont do it on every video like duckman and I wont.

Yea You need to see the whole scenery.....I know some people are going to like it and some not. but it was there. No fake thumbnails or photoshop or anything like that just filming what was there.

I think the later model corvairs were better looking than the camaros. Just like GM always does, they kill off the model just when they have perfected it.
