When refilling your compressor oil , you must empty your old compresor oil and add 10% more , remember that you have oil in your ac system (evaporator, condenser, and your lines) , so if you refill what your new compressor tells you , you will probably end with more oil than you should
Hi, I have an issue with my golf 1.9 tdi from 2007, I have the front radiator fan ( I have only one fan) that starts everytime even if motor temp is ok ( I see the temp on the climatronic secret menu), it starts only first time I start the car if I shut down and restart the fan don't start ,also another thing the air conditioning stopped working in the same period the fan started to act like this, do you know what can check ? I would think about same sensor but don't know how to troubleshoot, thanks for your videos
hello can you help me please! the hose of the ac compressor exploded because of the fuse number F8, do you mind if I start the car and use it? If the compressor is without oil, will it fail?
I want to go to a shop and extract gas and flush the lines. Go home mount the new compressor. When the compressor is filled only with oil, can i drive to the shop or do i have to leave the belt disconnected? It's the same sanden type compressor
Yes, extract the gas and flush the lines are the right way to do it, to flush will take like 1 hour using the AC compressor vacuum pump kit You cannot drive with the belt disconnected, this is the same belt in which operates your alternator.. no alternator, no power! You ONLY fill with the following: OIL PAG 46 6oz = 177ml, and after you should fill using the AC refrigerant R134A 12OZ (you should use 2 cans to fill your system)
It is a clutched electromagnet pulley, it will always spin when the engine is running, but the hub and internal parts of the compressor will only spin when the magnet is engaged on the pulley.
