Golf sales have collapsed from the Mk7 shifting nearly 500,000 (2018/19) to 200,000 (last year) for the Mk8. Customers are voting with their wallets and not buying. Interior controls are terrible and quite frankly dangerous. Keeping my Mk7 from new.

I think the whole manufacturing delays have played a part in that also, but the MK8 was a perfect stopgap car for six months. However personally the MK7 is better or the 7.5 is a perfect compromise
