Thank you, my father had this generation Golf, but in lighter blue, so this was fun model to add. It's actually the only 1/18 model in my collection of a car, that I've driven in real life.
Nice , I driven a lot of different V W Bugs in my life . Once one had no clutch , but you still had to shift , it was strange to drive . In the 1960 s , V W Bugs were everywhere. Junk yards were full of them . Mike
I really like the styling of the VW Golf Mk7. Very nice designed car. Ah you got it in the dealership edition. For an odd reason I was never checking a car dealership if they also have model cars. But usually they also charge you much higher than when buying it from the model car shops. I can notice the interior and engine bay wasn't as detailed like what I've seen from other Norev models. But as you mentioned the model car is also already 8 years old. And well, Norev is also still producing in different quality stages about the details - even sealed models.
Thanks, Golf Mk7 is indeed nice looking car. My dad had a 2014 Golf in lighter blue colour, really liked it. He replaced it with VW T-Cross. Ordered this model actually from Modelissimo.de at the time. Sometimes online modelshops seem to have dealer edition models for sale and this had pretty good price for Norev 1/18 model, just 29,90 Euros, quite a good quality vs price ratio :) The end is approaching in my collection videos, so this was the final video about my 1/18 models. I've finished that scale now in my collection videos with this Golf, and can't really see myself adding more 18th scale models, I just don't have the space for them.
@@modelcarfinn For 30 bucks it is really a great deal for an 1/18 scaled model no matter what brand it is. Oh yeah, these models take a lot of space. I've around 100 in this scale, hehe.
