VW ID3 airconditioning settings for best range in cold climates (effect over 15% longer range) 

1. Keep fans and temp reguest to minimal this will give you +15-25% better range around 0 Celsius temperatures. Colder it is bigger impact.
2. Use first seat heating if you are feeling cold
3. If you need more heat put the temp reguest to +21 for little time and blow air in fast. (note beware not to blow too much hot air rapidly to windshield as it may crack). Then back to min settings.
4. Keep vents facing driver closed for max comfort
Heated windshield would help a lot to boost range.
