They’re such a sick value. 10k cheaper than the gti and this gen they’re almost identical aside from the hatchback vs sedan. The interior quality is a little better on the gti, but idt it’s worth 10k. Can use that 10k savings for every mod under the sun and still have $ left over
I just launched my 2020 GLI MK7 Dual exhaust 2.0 turbo cold air intake str8 beast off the line 1st try 2 str8 perfect shift an everything had the tires smoking
No cap. Mine got fucking wrecked on Saturday night.😐 lowk wanna die but it’s getting fixed and wasn’t totaled thank god. But has 8k in damage😭😭😭 bro baby that shit. Treat like your child. I love mine and can’t believe I don’t have it right now😭
@@NithinChemmanoor Well...It's awesome! I keep finding excuses to go out and drive. Surprisingly loud on a cold start, but once it's warmed up it's not too bad. I'll try to get some sound clips up on my instagram (@stillwatergli).
Yeah hands down this exhaust sounds better than almost anything else I have seen sub 1000. I looked into custom exhausts but they are almost always straight pipes with res deletes and they sound gross.
I have the 2.0 non turbo. Just removed the mufflers and put on a tailpipe that has two outlets on it. Sounds fairly similar to this unless I'm getting into the red on my tach. Honestly I only did it because I was tired of kids running out in front of me when doing deliveries. 😒
Your sponsored by MBRP.? They used your car for the development of this product? I’m quite sure. They’re are specific things done to your vehicle that I noticed. Exhaust sounds decent though.
Love it! Had this exhaust installed on my GLI, same I think(2021). Any tips to the DSG farts/pops? I thought I'd have some - stock dp, but was sad that even getting it nice and hot, no farts to speak of in D,S, or manual. No matter where I shift.
I saw some other videos of you taking the GLI on the track, how well did the seats keep you in place(like did you slide around a lot during cornering)? I’ve heard the seats aren’t as bolstered as the ones in the GTI
So my issue with the GTI is I swear my seat adjusts itself... It's only the back that I have an issue with and I have no clue as to why. I am personally thinking in the long run I will want a fixed seat because I don't lean my seat back and I want my position to be consistent. Seats are incredibly comfortable though. I busted my ass snowboarding a month ago (bad enough I still feel it from time to time) and I managed to drive about an 1hr 45 to my cousin's to drop him off then another 24-30 home. Of course after I got home I took half a 7.5mg tablet of Oxy and crossed my fingers I would be able to go to work without being in a lot of discomfort 😂.
@@NithinChemmanoor Thank you for taking the time and responding. I saw on another one of your videos that you updated the coding on your car are there any updates for the Gli S trim and if so how much does it cost and what do I need to do to acquire it?
@@kavenmcgary7892 you can do most of the stuff. But majority of it require memory/power seats, digital cockpit. You can just buy a Carista dongle for $20 and do it yourself
I had one and ran it against my Acura, 4 cylinder cars are really slow, the only thing that makes them sound good is the turbo, without the turbo it does not walk GLI
Slower than an accord? What are you smoking? I’m running a 11 second quarter mile at 320 horse and 400 torque. Honda can’t do that without blowing a trans or a synchro. I can say that owning a brand new SI before this.
