Since summer is here it's probably time I looked into the aircon fault on my daily driver! With almost 300k kms on the clock this polo has been a great car with minimal issues.
So since I had to replace the compressor I thought I'd share some footage for anyone needing to do this.
Shout out to Michael @ Air Freeze Automotive for diagnosing the issue and coming out to regas the system on my lunch break!

Hi , i have vw polo 1.4 petrol 2009 , When driving the car while the air conditioning is running and I press the clutch and brake to stop the car or reduce the speed, the engine suddenly stops. I have changed many parts of the engine and the problem still exists. Note that this problem does not occur when the air conditioner is off … I changed all parts of the engine and the problem did not end. Some mechanics told me that there is a general problem with the engine compression in this type of engines ( BUD 1.4 ) and you cannot solve it unless you change the engine . .. now I completely changed the engine to a model (CGG ),, and the problem still exists.. This is going to make me crazy

Hey mate thanks for the comment! Unfortunately I don't have any experience with the 1.4s to know what could possibly be the issue but strange that it could possibly be the engine if it's happening after changing the engine over.
