I had a rover pinched off the pitch years ago, I'd left the spare key in the book pac, think just someone got in, saw the key and drove off, never saw it again, only stood at 500 quid tho, I'd have thought you could track the mot guy down, find who's seized it (?) and explain it wasn't his car, looks like he owed someone.

Does your mechanic not have insurance for vehicles in their care? Surely the minimum you should be getting from insurance is your true stand-in value including any improvements made.

Where the hell do they disapear to a friend has his one day old e class estate with 33miles on and his wifes slk that was probably about 2 years old disappear from his driveway !!! Straight in a container and off to Cypress/Malyasia etc. I knew of a C63 AMG nicked off someone's drive in the night. It was caught on camera going down the M271 to Soton docks and was on a boat and gone before the owner got up.

I think what Wayne was trying get across was the customer made out the car he viewed needed a really good valet and made out he was ocd with his car, always uses 2 mats so his car is always clean but when the px turned up it was the total opposite! Tbf the camera didn’t make it look too bad but it was pretty dirty.
