Before undoing the 20 torx screw pull and hold the door handle whilst holding the handle open undo the screw this will then lock the spring mechanism in place
Great video,,,, i have a Vw caddy 10 plate and i can’t open my side loading door from inside or outside, i wonder has that little bit of plastic with wire attached to it broken off? Subscribed 👍
I've just done this and now my doors won't open.. The handles feel like there under nowhere near as much pressure and I can see a bracket is now loose.. Any ideas
@@911Cabriolet Thank you even with it clipped back as far out as it goes, the handle still comes beyond the second stops. Its like the cable is just too long or the lock barrel isn't tight enough against the handle
