Hello I have problem starting with my 2.5 tdi engine toareg , when I turn the ignition on , no ignition coil(glow plug) coming on dash and car no start , but if I turn on and off the ignition +20 times the coil (glow plug ) light comes on and the (start engine ) message appears then the car starts please help me
Hello, everything is not so simple. You might have bad ECU or another 10 reason what could be faulty. My advices would be complete guess, so I wouldn't trust it.
@@Gadomaitis was the engine ecu ? some models with "M" on ecu had problems . Mine is not crancking up with no faults but with not high pressure on rail at all. HP fuel pump works and valve on high pressure gets 12 volt . I reflashed engine ecu and fans started up. Seems to be ecu
I have a Treg 2003 V6.3.2l NO dash lights, no start...I have removed the driver's seat(RHD) to inspect wires under the carpet (as it was once flooded some 2 months ago)right from Gearbox ECU into the firewall..so far so good(have cleaned up the earth points). Not sure where the source of the leak was but there seems to be evidence of water leak from the right door/windshield pillar down to the dash area were the Power Control Module/comfort control module and Kessy Unit are housed...I have opened it up, appears to be dry traces of water...would a faulty power control module cause the above issue? Central Locking via key fob works, interior lights work, headlights, brake lights, parking lights, and hazards but Instrumental cluster still remains dead except the occasional times when the battery is connected which brings Traction control, Airbag and ABS light on even without the key inserted...I cannot read ECU from my computer which makes error reading difficult.
Do you have a panoramic sunroof? If so Draining holes might be clogged. As I remember, can communication wires goes through instrument cluster, if it won't turn on, you will not be able to connect to ECU through diagnostic tool. If I where you, I would check do you have +and - to the instrument cluster. If not, find your self a wirring diagram if possible and trace back sequence. Maybe Central gateway has something to do with that. You can communicate to other modules? Just a guess.
@@Gadomaitis Many thanks for your response. It does have a standard sunroof so il still suspect the drains could be clogged up as you have mentioned. Il try checking for + and - to the instrumental cluster tomorrow and report back. Things I've tried already: pulling and holding the indicator stock whilst stepping the brake and holding the key in start position to try and wake the Gateway up while trying an auto-scan but no luck with that.
@@Gadomaitis So I checked for + and - on both cluster sockets: Green Socket - PIN 32-10.6V and PIN 28-11.90v. GRND:PIN 7 AND 13. Blue Socket PIN 8-12.47V ,PIN 23-12.48v . GRND: PIN 9 AND 24,
Try not to auto scan, try separately modules. It's enough to turn on hazard's to activate the module, to do diagnostic. And you have all the fuses inspected? No corrosion? Sometimes even with corroded fuses it will have the ignition.
@@Gadomaitis il will try modular scanning, all fuses check out ok..which pins did you short out as you did in the video? could be worth a try too and also bench testing the ECU for any possible faults.
Firstly check all the fuses, then positive and negative wires to the abs module connector( usually black and red), abs communicates with rest of the modules by Can wires, those should be reading around 2.2 -2.7 ( can low/high, orange colored wires) volts. If all are good, might be ABS module faulty. Strongly recommend to check assigned fuses.
@@Gadomaitis j ai fait réparé mon module confort d origine car il déchargait ma batterie mais je n ai pas de communication avec l abs depuis que j ai mis le module d occasion
Hi, i bought a touareg V10 2007 Diesel. The last owner took the wrong fuel. I fixed the engine. On the first try it started, but i had to build it out again and fix an oil leak. Build in the engine again and now its turning but no ignition is happening. Checked for errors with CarPort and nothing relevant appeared what would explain the Problem. Please help im working on it now since 9 month.
@@Gadomaitis Hay it fires up with "Start your bastard" So i guess i have air in high pressure fuel Lines. Whats the best way to remove this Air without pulling out the engine again. And thx a lot the tip with "start your bastard" was great.
You can manually activate fuel pumps, but if you have started the engine with help of start your bastard and ran it for some while then It should be free of air and should kinda start with starter motor. Cheers, G.
DomiG alright the engine is not starting I ran the fuel pump with carport for over the 3 minutes and it’s still not starting I checken the fuel injectors with carport and found out that there is no fuel injections at all. How can I check the electrics which should give the signal to injectors. I don’t think injectors are faulty cause all 10 of them can’t be broken at the same time.
hi mister Dom i would like to have your email address because i have a problem with a touareg tdi 2005 r5. which has no communication signal with the TCM, ABS, GEARBOX, BRACING ANGLE, KEYSY
