Just a few thoughts while I change the oil on my T4 ABL.
this is a 15 minute job for me.
!!!! I always put the van up on axle stands for this job !!!!
1. run the engine up to temperature,
2. remove the belly pan (4 screws and 2 nuts)
3. remove sump plug and drain oil into bucket. Replace plug with new copper washer.
4. unscrew old oil filter over a bucket and dispose of.
5. fill new filter with oil, smear oil on sealing rubber and screw on hand tight.
6. refill engine with oil, check level (do not overfill, it will wreck your catalytic converter!)
7. Check all seals under engine for leaks after a few minutes of engine running.
8. put on belly pan.
9. reward yourself with beer, and remember to remove the axle stands before driving off!
