Welcome to the Salvage rebuilds uk channel. in this video we complete the VW Transporter and Rob Does the numbers.
Working at our fully equipped workshop in Kent we carry out tasks including Panel beating, Body work, Mig Welding, Sheet metal Spot Welding, Fabrication, Chassis Repairs, Sand Blasting, Engine and Mechanical repairs, Reconditioning, Restoration and Structural repairs on the Celette Jig Dozer frame machine.

We do receive quite a few questions regarding tools and equipment that we use for various jobs. Unfortunately there is too many to list but some of the brands we use include Snap-on, Blue-point, Makita, Sealey, Clark, Esab and Sykes-Pickavant.

I know this is cheeky, but I was genuinely wondering, how have you found jumbling the work and running the channel? I mean it must be hard. Let’s just say you hit the 500k or 1m sub mark, will you need to get another employee? You guys should get a highlight spot in something like a car dealer mag! You deserve it! It would be great for promoting the channel and your business. The fact that you encourage others to ‘get involved’ speaks volumes. You’re a credit to under yourselves. I’d love to do what you do. ☺️

It may be Chris workshop but when 2 people work together in a partnership like this they will share all the bills water / electricity gas fuel when the bills arrive. They will share the profit equally. It's as simple as that.

That turned out beautifully. I know the market for vans is different in different areas but, based on where I live, £3500 for that was an absolute steal. And getting it sold with no hassles and no having to deal with the idiots that often crawl out of the woodwork when you're trying to sell a used vehicle is a definite win all day long...

When I sell a car I ask a price thats low, but not so low it makes people nervous that its a total dog. If they like it for the money I make it clear that at the price, they own it. I sold a lovely little Citroen once for £250 and saw the new owner a year later in a supermarket car park, she was really pissed that in the time she had it it needed new front disc pads!

@@stanbest3743 Unfortunately, you can still get the "best price" idiots who, generally, wouldn't recognise a good vehicle if it ran them over. If I get anyone ask me "what's the best price?" when they contact me then that's the end of the conversation as they're just not worth trying to deal with...

Dry rubbing the primer would save a lot time ,wet sanding nearly a thing of past now ! Panel beater 20 years love the channel guys

A little tip for the bumpers in the future, you can use a heat gun or even a blow torch to take them back to the original factory colour, it would have also got rid of the white halo around your heat gun repair, lovely looking van, keep up the good work

Damn good job guys, should be proud. I've a T5, a bloody workhorse. Ok, I've had my problems...new gearbox/flywheel refitted and bits & bobs - I put it down to wear & tear. But considering she's 17 years old...NO complaints overall. Best panel van EVER in my personal biased opinion.

I think your friend is getting a great van. When you do the numbers it might be good to have stab at how many hours you have put in.( The profit is only after you have taken off your labour costs)

In south Africa that van to purchase would have been around 5500 pound before all the work was done. and we would have sold it for between 6 and 6500 pound
