Hi Danny,I’m after changing the front end next year to a T6.1 I haven’t done a video in along time,I keep meaning to…..I’m in the middle of getting an old 2002 Mercedes Vito back on the road, needed a lot of work, welding ect(done it all myself)it’s the father in laws he bought it just to go fishing in(Day van)so I probably should of made some on that lol thanks for the message by the way👍😉
@@CampervanAdventures that will be a great watch mate as I’m also interested in doing the same to mine. Look forward to seeing the upgrade. Mercedes Vito I’ve seen a few conversations now they fit out quite nice and look comfortable. It’s great being handy saves a load of cash and it’s rewarding. All the best pal 👍
I changed the vans front end from a T5 to T5.1 about 6 years ago but after giving it a newer look and either a spray job or wrap. But I will deffo do a video on it all👍😉
Hi thanks for the reply,I’ve not done a video in along time and the van has undergone some big changes…..it’s now got a T6.1 front end,and a T6.1 rear tailgate.I wish I’d done videos on me fitting it all…….if anyone would like me to do a video on the changes just let me know👍😉
@@CampervanAdventures if you have footage its worth showing it! My biggest regret is starting my channel too late and now struggling for stuff to film on my transporter🙈
Hi adie, thanks for the comment mate…..just bought afew more things for it that I’ll be fitting soon,so please subscribe to find out what mate👍Thanks again

@@CampervanAdventures i give you a shout out ages ago . 😂😂😂. Can't remember which which it was. Ill give you another one, when the chance arrives mate 😁.
Lol yes you did my mate it was when I was down on here as WolfsburgT5,the car stereo is just a cheap one off eBay I think they sold out after I bought mine but I’ll find a link to one like mine and send it you.Think it was less than£100 delivered billy, really good to can’t fault it 10” screen to👍
Hi Gareth thanks for the comment, the rear spoiler is an ABT style one I bought it from a company in Poland some time ago. It’s made for the Vw T6 originally,(tailgate, not barndoor)so I had to first cut it in half and mod a fare bit to get it to fit.if I can find the name of the company that I got it from I’ll post it up to you…..as for the bike carrier;it’s a double fiamma bike carrier I bought it off ebay(only paid about £60 for it,was originally silver)but I wanted a black one but if you want a black one from fiamma it will set you back about £330 new!……I just sprayed mine black,if there’s anything you’d like me to cover in a video or something you’d like to see in a future video just leave a comment mate……and if your not a subscriber please think about subscribing as I’ve got more videos lined up but I also want feedback from people like yourself on future videos. Thanks again for your comment Gareth stay safe👍
Hi loving the channel only just found you.... Big favour to ask where did you get the Wolfsburg front grill badge. I need one desperately 😁 hope you can help 👍🏴🇬🇧
Hi John thanks for the comment my mate glad your enjoying the channel(glad you’ve found me please spread the word lol)as for the front badge I made it myself mate…..it so happens I’ve got another one,but I want that to take a mold from.I’ve made other badges to but they were so labour intensive I stopped making them.Hope this helps👍
@@CampervanAdventures Well you did a cracking job.... Would you be open/willing to make me one..... Like you l have a black and white wolfsburg theme going on also with believe it or not the same side stickers, centre caps for the wheels but that grill badge wow that would really set it off. You know l had to ask so l will keep my fingers crossed but of course no pressure, but it's sweet and would look really well over hear in Northern Ireland 🤣😁👍🏴🇬🇧
@@johngracie1960 watch this space John I’m not going anywhere so might do a video on it or mention it in my next video so you can see some of my others badges I’ve done. Thanks for the comment my mate👍
@@CampervanAdventures really love the way it looks, and am thinking of changing the stuff we have in ours as it needs refreshing so looked on Amazon and found some like that
@@Ghettosmurf207 cool, you can buy it at Wilko and B&Q to.The van is a 2007 van(T5)but I changed it to a T5.1 when I bought it…..she’s due another face lift this year(T6.1)I’ve got all the stuff to do it,thinking of going Audi merlin purple to.Just haven’t made a video in awhile, didn’t think the channel was going anywhere so don’t know if I’ll do any videos on changing it all over or not yet?
Father in law bought a very bet up Mercedes Vito w638 done a load of work on it,just to get it through its mot(welding ect)…..doing it up,making it into a daytime/Campervan.Right at the beginning I thought about making videos on it,but didn’t lol probably should of now…..but I might buy a beat up T4 or T5 and make videos of saving stuff from the scrapyard
@@CampervanAdventures brilliant will tell the other half as that’s her department haha, mines a 06 plate and just got it back on the road Love the van nice theme too, that’s the thing there’s always different ideas to come up with haha
@@jamesteanby1645 you need to cut the spoiler in half(not for the faint hearted that part lol)then at the ends you’ve just cut,you need to extend them by about 20mm or so,so the spoiler has the ends you’ve just cut finished off…..then when you come to fitting it to the van I used tiger seal,I also used rivet nuts in the spoiler and bolted it to the van instead of screws(so it’s on there solid)but I don’t think bonding alone will be strong enough!Having said that I did use tiger seal, and that’s a good panel bonding sealant.Thing is I’m a person that will have ago at anything,it works great….if not try again until it does lololol.Good luck, more so the point don’t be afraid to try😉
I’ve done everything to the van myself,it was just a panel van when I bought it……the only thing I didn’t do was the poptop but deep down I wish I had done it
