@Dharmista - Check how Kashmir, Hyderabad and few other states have so many Muslims. So they did convert a lot.. Obviously he couldn't convert all because Hindus were not weak like people in other countries where Islam could be easily spread. Many Brahmin priests were ready to die rather than get converted.
