I care zero about his flaws and discrepancies but this is a true artiste. He is intelligent, educated and witty. I enjoyed this interview. Not a lot of entertainers allow the public to get an insight of who they really are. Appreciate this!

gizmofari exactly. Ppl keep saying "why are you supporting a convicted murderer." The answer is, "Because he is not one." I believe he was set up. No body was ever found and the "evidence" is full of holes. They wanted to neutralize him and make sure he was off the streets during his 40s and 50s when he could bring change. He had money and he could influence events, and he intended to. There is no way he would have thrown all away over 2 guns. He was too smart for that.
Helen Wendel Just to clear this up he is a murderer, long before the lizard case Kartel had committed murders and that is a well known fact in Jamaica. To be honest he is what is known as a mass murderer and since after he got well known he stopped doing it himself. Im not speculating, im talking fact. I cant remember the first guys name that i know he killed but that was way back in 1999 and by 2000 Bounty Killer heard his infamous reputation in portmore and saw he had lyrical ability and brought him through after Kartels producer (who is also dead now) introduced him and kartel to killer. He also killed a promoter called "Bossie" in 2011 and tried to kill Mavado in a drive by shooting using his own car where one of Mavado's friends where hit in the leg.
I never heard about any of this stuff before. This doesn't mean it's not true - it probably is. I'm sure you know more of what's going on there than I do. But still... In my country there are sometimes miscarriages of justice in which someone who is not a murderer is locked in jail for many years for a murder they did not commit. This usually happens because someone hated them and set them up. I hope you're right and this is not one of those cases.

I totally agree with Vybz Kartel.... If what he sings about was not happening in our society he couldn't sing about it.... even though Vybz has a wild imagination.... Parents, teachers, churches.... can assist in the up bringing of impressionable minds....
Despite the fact that we hate Vybz Kartel's personal life... we cannot dispute the fact of his argument. The dude handled himself well and made a lot of "VALID" points.
You can't hate is personal life when you have no ideal of his personal life come correct because everything I know and you know is what the media portrait we see controversy we see an entertainer so don't twist it people need to think he can't be that bad of a person people around him like the vibe him bring.
