Rued, Your content is insanely informative. I really appreciate RU-vid creators like yourself that go the extra mile to over deliver. People do not understand the time that goes into quality videos like yours. I do my best to over deliver in my videos as well. Keep up the great work.
This was such a good comparison video. Ive been using Animaker for a year 1/2, but want to take things to another level very soon. Thank you so much for specific details -)
Hello I have no experience in animation, just want to create one about cavemen life, which one do you suggest I use that can have some pictures of cavemen ?
@@ellieisari1685 Hi...Animaker does allow you to make design your own character, so perhaps you would have to design it, but it dosent take a long time to do.... I would reach out to either program creators, to find out if they have a character close to a caveman. Animaker also has an images section that has options to other images...I also look online for animated images that may help in spicing up my vids...You can usually import animated images into most programs.....
This was still nice and kind for Animaker. Such a pity you did not dive deeper into the actions library of both tools. I just did that and Vyond has 2500+ actions and Animaker like 600+, extremely limited and some crazy options like running with a spear or running with an olympic torch, but no simple running!! Or a selfie with an alien but no simple standing without moving under a 45% angle. Animaker Absolutely sucks when it comes to comparing actions between the 2 tools and I think people deserve to know that. We bought license to Animaker only because we did not know about Vyond at that time. Animaker is only good at animaking educational videos where the character comes to the scene, waves at you, and point at something on a whiteboard, that;'s about it. Vyond gives you the freedom to create a full story. I wish people are properly warned about Animaker, despite its first look.
You have made really a great and in-depth video ! Simple, clean and Superb ! Wanted to go with Vyond, but my budget doesn't allow to go for it. So went for Animaker :) Though I'm quite Happy. No regret at all. Prayers that, GOD give that much Wealth and Strength in future to go for Vyond's Top most plan. 😀
Bro don't worry about budget use 14 day free trial of vyond. Then simply log out. After all this then again simply login with another gmail for another 14 day free trial 🤣🤣🤣🤣. My trick if you like..
I went with Animaker because it meets my needs well enough and, as an educator, I was able to get a discount. As far as I know, Vyond does not offer educational discounts.
Another great video. Vyond is professional for sure. I might go with Animaker just because it is free for 5 vids a month and I will not need much more. Thanks for sharing your huge experience with us!
Regarding Vyond, have the plans been change cause now in the professional plans I can see: Font import Auto translate videos Global edit Bulk text edit Speech enhancer Share a library with users on the same team plan Priority phone support No mention of the contemporary style access that you get
Thanks! I'm gonna do a micro-survey with you then, and ask why you don't subscribe to my channel? 🤗 I struggle to understand why everyone loves my videos, but so few subscribe 😁
I had tried the two of them. Both Animaker and Vyond are great and easy to use, even for an anime newbie like me (the most important is practice). However, I finally chose Vyond and am now using it (although it is Vyond lowest plan, and I am still learning to optimally use its features) for creating my animation video based on some considerations, mainly: - in Vyond, there is no limitation on text-to-speech conversion and video download - adjusting the timing of the audio with the video is easier in Vyond rather than than in Animaker - (relatively) unlimited customized character in Vyond.
Thank you Joy for this comments, the limitation of download on Animaker made me want to go in the loo and take number two; we are content creators who makes 5 videos per month?
@@deep-relaxing-music-mood-v5748 sometimes I make more than 4 videos per month, sometimes less than 4 (sometimes none 😅). Even when I make less than 4 videos, I sometimes "revise" them (before publishing them), thus I usually make and download more than 4 videos per month.
@@joysalad7136 say that again Joy, i think they should not only focus on companies but also think there's content creators like us who takes this really really serious. Otherwise keep working Joy and take care.
If I have a couple of RU-vid channel (teaching different languages) and sell language courses (they all belong to me) do I need to pay transfer fee? Really appreciate you clear video and you get to the point
Very nice explanations. I have requirements for these 1) Cloud based Explainer Video 2) 2D & 3D Cloud based Animation video 3) Whiteboard Cloudbase Animation video Pls tell the name clouds based Video editing tools. Also please tell which one will be best tool > Create Studio Explaindio Videoscribe Doodly Powtoon
Which application is better for creating story videos . cleaning utensils seen and objects like grass , utensils these are available in which application plz suggest
Which animation software is easy to use but allow you to create the characters. I am looking to make human cells in cartoon type characters. Which software would be best?
If you want a custom animated protagonist, there's no tool to help you out. No easy one, that is. You gotta learn animation from the ground up. If you rethink your first idea and are fine with an alternative. e.g. a human character explaining cells, then Vyond is your goto.
Animaker’s subscription model is totally ridiculous for a casual user. If one purchases a plan that includes 10 downloads per month - and signs up and pays for a year in advance - I would expect 120 downloads to be credited to may account - and I should be able to use them when I see fit - say all in the first month or all in the the last month. But that’s not how it works. If I don’t use ANY downloads in each of the first 3 months - but then need to do 15 downloads in the 4th month, they charge me extra for 5 of them because I’ve gone over the monthly limit. Their plans nickel and dime the casual user. They may be good for a business or someone who is going to use the service regularly - but they have no plans suitable for casual users. One video clip could easily consume 3 premium downloads if you don’t get it perfectly correct and need to tweak it. Overall, it seems like a pretty powerful tool - until you want to start working with video clips (ie for an explainer video). Videos can be used as a background - but if you want to do Picture in Picture stuff, it quickly becomes insanely frustrating.
Thanks for this information! It helps a lot since I am considering which animation tool to use. What do you think of Create Studio? That looks cool too.
Yes, that also looks cool, but I think it's a little more advanced and thereby they put themselves in a narrow space, where the distance up to full-blown tools like AfterEffects is too short.
Thanks for your response. Yeah. That is right. Create studio has more control but seems a bit advanced. I want to create this type of animation story in this link (Sorry it is Japanese) for my Japanese language teaching contents. Not as long as this one but shorter one. I know this is made by Vyond. but do you think it is also possible to make it by Toonly or Animaker (or Create Studio if you know)? ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Rxkl3We1r6A.html
@@satouzbek You probably can - with a different look of course. But all the functionality matches by and large, so there will be ways to execute your ideas in those tools as well.
Hi. Is it possible to stick logo to the object that is part of character. For example a man who carrying a bag and it is moving- I need the logo that is combined piece of this bag that would act the same motion. How to deal with it ?
Great video! Thank you. Since recently AI has merged, do you have new recommendations based on the speed and quality of a video that can be created by AI? Thanks
I appreciate your video. Due to unforseen circumstances I am needing to find a way to produce content quick but am wanting to use animation rather than myself. Would you say that I could figure out the Vyond program with no previous video editing training? Is there something I should study first before attempting? Thanks so much for your help! edit.. Is there one that would work that is cheaper than 50 bucks a month?
Sir i want to ask one thing. As a freelancer, do i need to pay Vyond $99 for "each and every" video i create with Vyond ? in one article Vyond says that we just have to pay the rights fee when we create commercial ad video for a "business" , but in another place, its reads as, we have to pay $99 for * every video we create* with Vyond. its very confusing. if anyone can help in this please.
The limitation of what you can download on these software is what get to my nerves. Animaker you can download 5 videos per month we are content creators who make more videos than that.
I'll think about it - but it's not that simple as me making money from using Vyond. Vyond and animation in general is one component of my content creation that I then monetize by selling courses, showing ads on RU-vid and via affiliated links. I don't freelance anymore, which is the simplest way to make money from an animation skillset built on Vyond like mine.
Sure, you just have to make sure your content is original. Then it's totally fine. What can't be monetized is template videos, re-uploads, non-original stuff.
I try to find bedsheet in anymaker but not found here. So vyond is much batter. Anymaker not working properly as according set properties. While beyond working proper with all functions. Animaker character looks is good only. But functions is not really good. I can proove.
It's really not much that expensive - also not when compared to other animation makers: www.ruedriis.com/blog/vyond-faq#h32skjo5ej0c1mmucgv1i3zsehv9lcci
Vyond is no friend of beginners or fresh starters. It's farrrrr way too costly. One cannot even download a created video during one's trial period. You can't even share to social media. That's terrible. Animaker is the best because it has a free version where beginners can learn and become expert and can also freely download and share to various social media for viewing. No offense but Vyond isn't friendly AT ALL in its policy and purchase methods. Despite it's high demands for money, its watermark almost covers the full video being created, still it can't be downloaded nor shared. Gosh! I highly prefer Animaker 100 times over to Vyond!
Vyond is premium for sure; for the professionals. Animaker is great for hobby projects, and the pricing model of both reflects this to some degree. If you are serious about building a business using animation, don't waste your precious time on anything else than the best tools.
@@RuedRiisCom Agreed! But Vyond should try to bring down their pricing for many to have access to it. Animaker is also one of the very best animation tools based on my growing experience. I believe you have used it and you can attest to that fact my dear Rued!
No, the lack of Animaker actions only limits Animaker videos to educational / presentation style videos. With Vyond you can create a movie if you want to.
Great question! There are actually several free or low-cost animation makers that you can use to make simple kids cartoon style videos. Here are a few options to consider: Powtoon - Powtoon is a free online animation software that allows you to create engaging and entertaining cartoon-style videos. It has a user-friendly interface and a wide range of pre-designed templates, characters, and props that you can use to create your animations. Pencil2D - Pencil2D is a free and open-source 2D animation software that is perfect for making simple kids cartoon-style videos. It has a straightforward interface and a variety of drawing tools that allow you to create hand-drawn animations. Animaker - Animaker is a web-based animation software that offers a free version with limited features and a low-cost subscription version with more advanced features. It has a large library of pre-made characters, backgrounds, and sound effects that you can use to create your animations. Synfig Studio - Synfig Studio is a free and open-source 2D animation software that is great for making simple kids cartoon-style videos. It has a powerful set of tools and allows you to create vector-based animations. I hope these suggestions help you find the perfect animation maker for your needs!
You gotta stick to what you _know_ , right? I'm a *huge* fan and super-user of Vyond, so that's always my point of departure when testing out alternatives 🤗
This is probably an odd question. Can you make the female characters pregnant in Vyond? I am an educator at a university in an area focused on pregnancy related issues and would like to incorporate some of these type videos in my materials.
Well, Vyond is $299/year and Animaker is $228/year so not the big difference really :) www.ruedriis.com/blog/vyond-faq#h32skjo5ej0c1mmucgv1i3zsehv9lcci
@@RuedRiisCom thats quite a big difference actually. 30% more in percentage terms. Also, if i only need basic animation functions, the $10/month animaker plan makes more sense and it is even much more cheaper per year
@@joellim7010 I always advocate choosing the tool that fits with your use case. If Animaker is your perfect solution, then that's where you need to go :)
I think this is not a very fair review. because you are using Animaker free version and vyond premium to compare. I am using both for sometime. I think vyond animation is not as good as Animaker. Also vyond giving multiple animation style but the collection is not big enough like others. they are diluting the assets efforts to more styles and not serving one category properly.
Hi Vijay. I understand your point, and it’s true I don’t purchase a higher plan for Animaker. However, my comparison is centered around those 5 factors I included in the video, and they are pretty much the same for all the plans - like aesthetics, animations, output and price. To your point on Vyonds limitations on Props, I do think it’s the other way around 🤗
Thanks for the compare. I found the Vyond Tool far more enjoyable to use during my trial than Animaker/ If I were to publish RU-vid videos in Vyond, is the Essential package enough for acquiring the rights? Secondly, I can't seem to find any integrated background remover as Animaker has when uploading images with a useless backgrounds. How so without incurring an additional expense?
Plus you need to pay $99 per video if you decide to resell your videos. The support has just confirmed this yesterday. No way that I'll buy Vyond. Animaker if you decide to resell you must buy the enterprise subscription which costs a fortune. Now I'm checking Moovly that allows you to resell and they have a fair price.
If you want to freelance selling animation videos, Vyond is by far the best tool - even with a $99 transfer rights fee. But you then have to charge enough for your video and put that cost on the customer. If you sell videos for less than $500, I don't think it's a viable business. We used to charge around $2000 for 60 second videos, and that enabled us to build the business. So don't charge too little as a freelancer. That's the lesson :)
@@AliHaider-gy6xt It's always a matter of your goal with it and what your skill level is now; Blender is way too advanced for most of my Vyond students. They are L&D professionals and marketers - no need to spend the time to learn Blender, if you just need to make simple training videos.
